DynaVap HyperDyn

The HyperDyn uses the same tips and caps as all DynaVap models. If you already own an M7 or VonG you can swap in your favorite tip. Titanium tips work too.

The HyperDyn heats the DynaVap tip electrically — push-button instead of lighter. The 3400 mAh battery lasts around 20 sessions. Charging via USB-C takes about 2 hours for a full charge.

Heat-up time is 8 seconds, similar to jet flame heating. The click comes as usual — the tactile feedback is preserved.

The HyperDyn disassembles like any DynaVap: remove cap and tip, clean in isopropanol. Only wipe the body with a damp cloth — don't soak it, as the electronics are sensitive.

Dosing capsules keep the chamber clean and significantly extend cleaning intervals.

Both heat the DynaVap electrically, but the HyperDyn is a standalone device with an integrated battery. An external induction heater is stationary and usually needs a power outlet.

The HyperDyn is portable and delivers more consistent results than handheld IH units. However, the heating zone is limited to the DynaVap tip — an IH can theoretically heat more evenly.

The biggest advantage of the HyperDyn: DynaVap vapor without a flame. In situations where a jet flame is impractical — in wind, in the dark, or where open fire is unwanted — the HyperDyn shines.

Starting at €183, it's priced above an M7 with lighter but below most electronic portables with comparable vapor quality.

The HyperDyn uses standard DynaVap dosing capsules. These hold 0.1 g and keep the chamber clean. You can prepare several filled capsules and swap them quickly on the go.

Stainless steel capsules are pre-filled and keep the chamber nearly residue-free. On the go you just swap the capsule – no refilling needed. An 8-capsule magazine is available as an accessory.

Regular cleaning keeps the Crafty+ performing at its best and ensures pure flavor. Brush out the chamber after every session to remove loose residue. Clean the mouthpiece and vapor path weekly with isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher).

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Never use water inside the chamber — only isopropyl or dry cleaning
• Do not use sharp metal tools in the vapor path
• Replace screens when draw resistance increases

Choosing the right temperature on the Crafty+ determines flavor, vapor density, and active compound profile. Lower temperatures (170–185 °C) emphasize terpenes and deliver mild, aromatic vapor. Higher temperatures (195–210 °C) produce thicker clouds and stronger effects.

• Start at 180 °C and increase in 5-degree steps
• Finer grind often needs 5–10 °C lower temperature
• In cold environments, raise starting temp by 5 °C

The Crafty+ battery lasts several sessions with typical use. For maximum lifespan, keep the battery between 20% and 80% and avoid deep discharge. USB-C charging with a quality power adapter speeds up charging.

• For replaceable batteries: use original or recommended cells
• Battery performance drops in cold — let it warm up before sessions
• Pass-through charging (if supported) allows use while charging

Both by Storz & Bickel with identical hybrid heating (210°C). The Mighty+ has a larger display and more battery. The Crafty+ is more compact and ~30 EUR cheaper but needs the app for full control.
