The DynaVap BallR Cap is a cap for all VapCap models. Ball-retention cap — holds stainless steel balls for thicker vapor clouds. Controls click temperature and protects the tip. Check our price comparison before purchasing.

Click Mechanism

The BallR Cap contains a bimetallic disc that audibly clicks at vaporization temperature. Ball-retention cap — holds stainless steel balls for thicker vapor clouds. Click point is around 200°C and varies slightly between caps.

Compatibility

Fits all DynaVap tips (standard 10mm) and most VapCap-compatible devices from other makers (Simrell, Dreamwood, etc.). Just push on — holds via friction and magnetism on some models.

Care

Do NOT soak the cap in isopropanol — this can shift the click point. Only wipe dry or rinse with warm water. Heat discoloration is normal and doesn't affect function.

How the BallR Cap Works

The BallR Cap uses stainless steel balls inside as heat storage. The balls absorb heat during heating and release it evenly to the material. This extends extraction time per heat cycle — more vapor per click.

Torch vs. IH

With a torch, aim the flame at the center of the cap and rotate evenly. With an induction heater, heat until the second click. The BallR Cap needs 2-3 seconds longer than a standard cap.

FAQ

How long does a cap last?

Several years with normal use. The click may soften slightly over time but remains functional.

Can I change the click temperature?

Not directly. But heating position on the torch affects temperature: closer to the tip = hotter, closer to the click end = cooler.
