Vapman 2.0

Vapman describes use in four steps: open the device by turning it to the right, fill the bowl, heat with the flame for around three seconds, inhale. In its comparison table, the manufacturer lists the 2.0 as hybrid-heated, suitable for herbs and concentrates.

Vapman does not specify a temperature for the 2.0, and it has no overheat protection: how hot it gets is determined by the flame distance and heating duration. The Vapman Click is different — it clicks audibly at 180 °C via a bimetallic disc.

According to the product page, the Vapman 2.0 is made from wood, stainless steel, 24-carat gold-plated copper, brass, and mineral layers. Elsewhere on the same page, Vapman mentions 18-carat gold plating; the manufacturer leaves it open as to which figure is correct.

The bowl is wok-shaped and holds 0.1 g. The vapor path is stainless steel with built-in cooling; the bowl and filter can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Airflow is adjustable.

Vapman offers the 2.0 in olive wood, Indian satinwood, and Zebrano. The manufacturer states 45 × 45 × 70 mm and 50 g.

Both models are heated with a flame. In the manufacturer's comparison table, the differences are as follows:

• Vapman 2.0: bowl 0.1 g, around 3 seconds, herbs and concentrates, no temperature signal
• Vapman Click: bowl 0.2 g, around 4 seconds, herbs only, clicks at 180 °C

Anyone who wants a signal for the correct temperature is better served by the Click. The 2.0 is smaller and is also intended for concentrates.

For thorough cleaning, the manufacturer states you clip off the filter and place all metal parts in cleaning solution. There are no dosing capsules for the Vapman; the bowl is filled directly.

As accessories, Vapman offers a 10/14/18 mm adapter for water pipes and glass parts, as well as a heating station that replaces the flame. The warranty from vapman GmbH covers defects that arise within 24 months of delivery.
