The Vapman Pure is the older Vapman model without the click mechanism, previously sold as the «Basic». According to the maker, it differed from the old Classic only by a carbon heat shield instead of mica, and it came in olive and kotibé wood. Vapman now sells only individual pieces; the current range consists of the Vapman Click and the Vapman 2.0.

Vapman's archived product pages (2022/2023) mention olive and kotibé wood and a heat shield made of natural carbon instead of mica. As early as 2012, Vapman described the bowl as gold-plated copper and the mouthpiece as POM. The manufacturer has not published fill capacity, weight, dimensions, or heat-up time for the Pure.
As with all Vapman devices, the bowl is heated from the outside using a jet lighter and you then draw slowly. Unlike the Click, there is no audible signal: flame distance and heating duration determine how hot it gets. This takes a few sessions to get used to. Dosing capsules are not available for the Vapman.
The click mechanism with bimetallic discs is found in the Vapman Click Pure, also without mica. Those looking for the smallest model for herbs and concentrates will find it in the Vapman 2.0 with a 0.1 g bowl.
