The Lotus operates on a straightforward but effective principle. The nickel heating disc sits directly above the herb chamber. You hold a torch a short distance beneath the disc for a few seconds to heat it. When you draw, ambient air passes under the hot disc, picks up heat, and flows through the herb material below.

The critical detail: the flame never touches the herb. The entire airpath is isolated from the butane flame. The result is clean, flavorful vapor produced purely by convection – no combustion byproducts.

With a good torch, heat-up takes 3 to 15 seconds depending on the desired temperature.

INHALE is careful about materials. The cap is made from olive wood, walnut, or amaranth depending on the variant. The wood is untreated except for a natural oil finish – no lacquer, nothing synthetic.

The heating disc is nickel, selected for its thermal properties. The magnetic cap holds securely enough to keep the chamber protected but opens easily with one hand.

The included borosilicate J-hook mouthpiece cools vapor before it reaches your mouth. Borosilicate glass is thermally stable and flavor-neutral – it does not influence the vapor in any way.

The Lotus has no battery, no circuit board, and no digital display. Temperature is controlled entirely by torch distance and heating duration. This sounds complex at first, but becomes intuitive within a few sessions.

The basic rule: closer torch and longer heating time = higher temperature. For light, flavor-focused draws, 3–5 seconds at moderate distance works well. For denser vapor and deeper extraction, increase to 8–15 seconds or reduce the distance slightly.

The practical range is roughly 180–230 °C. Many users appreciate this analogue approach – tactile feedback with no menus or screens between you and the experience.

The Lotus has a native 14mm joint at the base of the herb chamber. It plugs directly into any bong or water pipe with a 14mm female connection – no adapter required. Water filtration cools and humidifies the vapor noticeably.

The J-hook mouthpiece can be swapped for other 14mm glass pieces. The 14mm standard is widely used in the glass world, so compatible accessories are plentiful.

For on-the-go use, the J-hook works standalone – compact and no water connection needed. At home, the Lotus pairs well with a glass rig for the smoothest possible draws.
