You grab it like a pipe, hold a jet lighter just above the filter and reach around 190 °C in five seconds - without any electronics.
The bronze tube insert adds weight and sturdiness while the maple bowl stays cool, allowing multiple bowls in a row to run more stably. You still control the temperature via flame distance, draw speed and rotation;With the quieter air flow, guided sips are easier to pull.
