The Mighty+ is suitable for users who want to control a dry herb session directly on the device. Hybrid heating and the cooling unit are its key features. At around 242 g and 14 cm tall, it is better suited to a backpack or bag than a small pants pocket. The batteries are permanently installed; there is no app for this model.
Heating and operation
Convection and conduction at the ceramic-coated filling chamber work together. You can set the temperature between 40 and 210 °C with the plus and minus buttons in one-degree increments. The heating methods cannot be selected as separate operating modes. The display shows the current and set temperatures. According to the manufacturer's help center, heating takes about 60–70 seconds; the battery level and surroundings affect the duration. This is not our own measurement.
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
The manufacturer describes two lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 3300 mAh. This specification does not explain whether that figure applies to each cell or to both combined, so we do not add the capacities together. A third-party review instead states 4600 mAh, as indicated in the sources section. The batteries are not user-replaceable. Charging is via USB-C. With the USB-C Supercharger and 15 V/3 A Power Delivery, Storz & Bickel states approximately 40 minutes to reach 80 percent, not a full charge.
Package contents
The official package contents include the Mighty+, a USB-C-to-USB-A cable, three regular and three coarse small screens, three small base seal rings, one dosing capsule, a cleaning brush, and a quick-start guide. The Supercharger and the storage container for dosing capsules are separate accessories. Check the specific store offer for additional items; an accessory package is not automatically included with the base device.
Dimensions and limitations
The manufacturer's dimensions are 14 × 8 × 3 cm, and the weight is around 242 g. A replaceable battery and app control are not features of the Mighty+. MIGHTY and MIGHTY+ are different models: The chargers in particular are not interchangeable. The Mighty+ uses USB-C, not the old MIGHTY's 12-V connection.
Operation & use
Getting started and filling
Fully charge the device before first use. The cooling unit can be removed by turning it 90 degrees counterclockwise. Fill with ground plant material up to the plastic rim without overfilling or tightly packing the chamber. Alternatively, insert a compatible dosing capsule. Then twist the cooling unit back into place.
Turning it on and selecting the temperature
Hold the orange on/off switch for at least half a second. The display shows the current and target temperatures; a double vibration indicates that the temperature has been reached. The factory-set base temperature is 180 °C. Double-clicking and triple-clicking the on/off switch activates the Booster and Superbooster, as described in the temperature section. The plus button is not a boost switch.
After use
To turn it off, hold the on/off switch for at least half a second. Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning the filling chamber. The instructions for use, Chapter 6 specify automatic shutoff three minutes after the last button press or use. We do not promise a fixed session duration or number of sessions per battery charge.
Dosing capsules, accessories & cleaning
One dosing capsule is included; additional capsules and storage containers for dosing capsules are sold separately. The manufacturer's instructions, Chapter 8.4 describe its dosing capsules as single-use capsules. The previous claim of reusable stainless steel capsules no longer applies. Cooling units, screens, and seals are available as replacement parts. For water pipes, you need an adapter compatible with the Mighty+ and the correct joint size; matching brands alone do not establish compatibility.
Current accessory prices are listed in the price comparison. Fixed replacement costs and blanket replacement intervals would be misleading without dated evidence. Replace damaged parts and a clogged screen according to the instructions.
Original capsules: material, pack size, and price
According to the manufacturer, the original dosing capsules from S&B are made of aluminum and intended for single use. The 40-pack contains loose capsules; a magazine containing eight capsules has different contents.
Divide the item price by the actual quantity, then factor in shipping and valid codes. Do not compare a third-party stainless steel capsule or a set with a magazine as if it were an identical item. Cleaning & care
Turn off the device and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean the screens in the chamber and cooling unit with the brush after every use. For the disassembled cooling unit, Chapter 7 of the instructions for use specifies warm dishwater or isopropyl alcohol. For an alcohol bath: Only wipe the cap lock with the hologram, and soak the other designated parts for no more than half an hour. Then rinse them under running water for at least one minute and allow them to dry completely.
Only wipe the filling chamber with a cotton swab that is not overly damp and has been moistened with isopropyl alcohol; do not allow liquid to enter the device. The base device must not be immersed. Replace damaged, brittle, or discolored parts. The instructions do not make a blanket claim that the entire cleaning process can be completed in five minutes.
What Are the Ideal Temperature Settings?
The adjustable range is 40–210 °C. Factory settings: base temperature 180 °C, Booster 195 °C, and Superbooster 210 °C. Double-clicking the on/off switch activates the Booster, while triple-clicking it activates the Superbooster. The Booster offset is adjustable; the Superbooster is another 15 °C higher. With the factory settings, that is a total of 30 °C above the base temperature. The maximum temperature remains 210 °C.
After 90 seconds in the respective boost mode, the device returns to the base temperature. This operation is documented in Chapter 6.5 of the instructions for use and in the manufacturer's help center. Flavor and visible vapor density also depend on the load and draw. Temperature charts do not guarantee a particular effect.
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
The battery icon shows the charge level. A standard USB connection charges the Mighty+, but that alone does not provide mains operation. A suitable USB-C PD power adapter with 15 V and 3 A and a USB-C-to-USB-C cable enable the Supercharge function described by the manufacturer. The “dct” indicator after connection confirms that mains operation is supported. “SLO” indicates a low-power charger.
The instructions for use and the manufacturer's charging article explain these conditions. The old power adapters and car charging cables for the MIGHTY are not a suitable power supply for the Mighty+. If the charging error persists, refer to the following error-code section.
MIGHTY+ error codes ERR 001 through ERR 005 and charging indicators
Short answer: On the MIGHTY+, ERR 001 and ERR 002 indicate that the battery temperature is too high or too low, ERR 003 indicates an unsuitable USB charger or USB-C cable, and ERR 004 indicates a defect. For ERR 004: turn off the device, disconnect it from the charger, and contact service. The Storz & Bickel help center additionally lists ERR 005 and “bl.” By contrast, “SLO” and “dct” are charging indicators, not error codes.

ERR 001 through ERR 004 appear in the MIGHTY+ instructions for use, version 09-2024, Chapter 9.1. ERR 005 and “bl” come from the combined MIGHTY+/VENTY table in the manufacturer's help center. It also lists the short forms e01 through e05. Codes starting with ERR 006 are not explained in these sources, so we do not state a specific cause for them.
ERR 003: USB-C instead of the old 12-V power adapter
For the old MIGHTY, ERR 003 refers to its 12-V power adapter. For the MIGHTY+, it concerns the USB charger and USB-C cable. Therefore, do not apply instructions for the old MIGHTY to the MIGHTY+. The manufacturer's instructions recommend original accessories; they do not support a diagnosis such as “battery defective” based solely on ERR 003. If the error persists despite suitable accessories, contact service.
ERR 004: Stop using the device
The instructions classify ERR 004 as a defect. They specify neither a particular component nor a repair trick. Turn off the device and disconnect it from the charger. Do not open it yourself. For the repair request, note the displayed code and whether it occurs while charging or during use.
SLO and dct: What the charging indicators mean
SLO on the second display line indicates a low-power charger according to the instructions. A more powerful, suitable charger is the intended remedy. By contrast, dct appears for three seconds after connection when the charger supports mains operation. The indicator confirms this function and does not require a repair.
For Supercharge and mains operation, the MIGHTY+ charging help center specifies USB-C Power Delivery with 15 V and 3 A, with 45 W recommended. With the Supercharger, approximately 80 percent charge in 40 minutes is possible. Not every USB-C power adapter automatically provides these functions.
If the MIGHTY+ does not turn on
First check the battery level and charge the device with suitable accessories. According to the instructions, you can alternatively bypass an empty battery by using mains operation with the USB-C Supercharger. If the device remains inoperative or displays a defect code, the next step is to submit a repair request to the manufacturer. An indicator alone does not prove specific component damage.
