How Do I Use My Vaporizer?

The Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel is the brand's most compact vaporizer. It has just one button – temperature control runs entirely through the Storz & Bickel app. Hybrid heating, dosing capsules, and USB-C make it a true pocket companion.

1. First Charge

Plug in the USB-C cable. The 3200 mAh battery takes about 2 hours to fully charge. The LED blinks while charging and turns green when full. Note: the Crafty+ has no passthrough charging. You'll need to wait until it's charged.

2. Install the App and Pair

Download the Storz & Bickel app (iOS/Android) and turn on Bluetooth. Power on the Crafty+ (hold button for 3 seconds) and pair it with the app. Without the app, you're limited to the default temperature (180 °C / 356 °F) and the boost (195 °C / 383 °F, long button press). The app unlocks the full range of 40–210 °C (104–410 °F) plus custom presets.

3. Load the Chamber

Twist off the cooling unit. Grind your herbs medium-fine and fill about 0.15 g – or use a dosing capsule. Fill loosely, don't press down. Snap the cooling unit back on.

4. Power On and Draw

Hold the button for 3 seconds. The LED shows the heat-up phase: red = heating, green = target reached. Heat-up takes about 60 seconds. Draw slowly for 10–15 seconds. For the boost: hold the button again for 3 seconds mid-session – the LED turns blue and temperature jumps to 195 °C.

5. After Your Session

The Crafty+ auto-shuts off after 1 minute of no use. Or hold the button for 3 seconds. Let it cool, twist off the cooling unit, tap out the chamber, and brush it clean. Soak the cooling unit in isopropyl alcohol every 5–10 sessions.

Not installing the app – Without it, you're stuck with 180 and 195 °C. The app is a must for full control.
Overpacking the chamber – Air needs room to flow. Fill loosely, never press down.
Trying to vape while charging – No passthrough. Charge it fully first, then go.
