Summary Verdict: Who Is the VEAZY Right For?
The VEAZY is right for you if you want a lightweight device with Storz-&-Bickel technology and prefer to operate it with a single button. It weighs 134 g, heats using a combination of convection and conduction, and offers three temperature levels at the press of a button. Fine-tuned temperature control is available via the S&B Web App.
It is less suitable if you want to vape whilst charging or expect a replaceable battery: the VEAZY offers neither. At around 40 seconds, its heat-up time is slower than the VENTY.

Heating: Convection and Conduction
The VEAZY uses the patented combination of convection and conduction that Storz & Bickel also employs in its larger devices: hot air flows through the filling chamber when you draw, whilst the chamber simultaneously transfers heat to the material.
According to the manufacturer, the base temperature of 180 °C is reached in around 40 seconds. A double vibration and a green light indicate that it is ready. How quickly this happens in any individual case depends, according to S&B, on the charge level, ambient temperature, and the amount of material loaded.

Single-Button Operation: Base, Booster, Superbooster
One press of the button starts heating to the base temperature, set at 180 °C by default. Once reached, a double-click activates the Booster (+15 °C, i.e. 195 °C), and another double-click activates the Superbooster (a further +15 °C, i.e. 210 °C).
Both boost levels automatically revert to the base temperature after 90 seconds. If you prefer to keep the boost active, you can enable «Permanent Boost» in the Web App. All three levels can also be adjusted to the precise degree there.

S&B Web App: Optional, In-Browser
You do not need an app to operate the device. The S&B Web App runs in your smartphone's browser via Web Bluetooth — no installation from an app store required. With it you can set the temperature precisely between 40 and 210 °C, define the base, booster, and superbooster temperatures, and switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
You can also toggle vibration and permanent Bluetooth, adjust the LED brightness and charging mode, read out operating hours and firmware version, and install updates. The «Find-My-VEAZY» function makes the device light up in multiple colors and vibrate for ten seconds.

Reading the LED Indicators
The VEAZY has no display, only two LEDs. During heating they glow orange — steady for the base temperature, slow-blinking for the Booster, fast-blinking for the Superbooster. Green means: temperature reached.
Errors are indicated by combinations with red: red on the bottom and white-blue blinking on the top means «device too hot»; the reverse means «too cold». If both LEDs glow steady white, the device is faulty — switch it off immediately, unplug the cable, and contact support.

How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
Charging is via USB-C. Storz & Bickel recommends a charger rated at 5 V / 3 A (15 W). In its comparison table, the manufacturer states that the VEAZY reaches 80 % charge in approximately 40 minutes. The blue LED indicates the level: blinking up to 30 %, fast-blinking up to 60 %, slow-blinking up to 98 %, steady when full.
The blinking pattern also tells you about the charger: yellow indicates a USB-C-to-USB-A cable, magenta indicates a weak charger with which charging will take considerably longer. An ECO charging mode in the Web App helps preserve the battery. According to Storz & Bickel, the VEAZY cannot be used whilst charging.

Automatic Shut-Off
The VEAZY switches itself off if neither the button has been pressed nor a draw taken for a period of time. A brief vibration gives advance warning. A short press of the button resets the timer.
Regarding the duration, Storz & Bickel contradicts itself: the product page and technical overview state two minutes, whilst the article on temperature settings states three minutes. We use the two-minute figure cited consistently by two sources.

Loading the VEAZY Correctly
- Rotate the cooling unit 90° counter-clockwise and lift it off.
- Fill ground herb into the filling chamber up to the plastic rim — do not overfill and do not pack it down firmly.
- Replace the cooling unit and rotate it 90° clockwise.
The chamber holds 1.4 cm³, approximately 150 mg according to the manufacturer. The process is easier with S&B dosing capsules or the filling aid that Storz & Bickel recommends for this purpose.

Inhaling Correctly
Unfold the mouthpiece and draw steadily for a few seconds, using no more than half your lung capacity. Hold your breath briefly and exhale slowly. Do not blow into the VEAZY.
Before each use, S&B advises checking the device for damage and inspecting the mouthpiece and cooling unit for residue. The air vents must not be blocked during operation or whilst the device is cooling down.

Cleaning the VEAZY: Cooling Unit and Screen
Switch the device off and unplug the cable. Remove the cooling unit and carefully lever the filling chamber screen out of its groove using a pointed pair of tweezers. A blocked or damaged screen must be replaced.
Either soak the parts in warm washing-up water for 5 to 30 minutes, or in isopropyl alcohol for a maximum of 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse everything under running water for at least one minute and allow it to dry completely. The screen is inserted slightly bowed, with the bow facing upwards, and pressed flat into the groove using the filling chamber tool. Clean the housing and cable only with a dry or damp cloth.

Materials and Cooling
The cooling unit is made from the medical-grade plastics PEEK and PPSU, and the filling chamber has a ceramic coating. According to S&B, all parts you touch are heat-resistant and all parts in the airpath are biocompatible.
In the labyrinthine cooling unit, the vapor cools down across two levels before it reaches the mouthpiece. According to the manufacturer, the device complies with the safety standard UL 8139.

Warranty, Reset, and Accessories
The VEAZY comes with a two-year warranty. Unlike the VENTY or MIGHTY+, registering it does not add an extra year of warranty. For any claims, Storz & Bickel requires a valid proof of purchase.
Holding the button for ten seconds resets all temperature levels on the VEAZY to factory settings. Storz & Bickel sells original accessories including cooling units, mouthpieces, a seal ring set, a wear parts set, a USB-C charger, and a case. The device is available in black, orange, blue, and pink.

VEAZY, VENTY, and CRAFTY+ Compared
Storz & Bickel presents the three portable devices side by side in a table. All cover 40 to 210 °C. The VEAZY weighs 134 g and takes at least 40 seconds to reach 180 °C. The CRAFTY+ is equally light at 135 g, but takes 60 to 80 seconds.
