The Apollo 2 by DynaTec is a corded induction heater for DynaVap devices. It has no battery. The battery-powered version is called the Apollo 2 Rover and is a standalone model.

Induction Instead of Flame

The Apollo 2 generates an electromagnetic field that directly heats the VapCap's metal cap — no flame, no combustion, no wind sensitivity. Insert your VapCap, press the button, wait for the click. More consistent than a torch.

Compatibility

Compatible with all DynaVap models (M, Omni, Vong, G3, etc.) and most VapCap-compatible devices from other makers (Simrell, Dreamwood, Koil Boi etc.). The receptacle typically fits 10mm tips. Some models have adjustable power for different cap materials.

Advantages Over Torch

No butane refilling, no wind protection needed, no uneven heating. Perfect indoors and for users who dislike the torch ritual. Click temperatures are hit more consistently — every draw tastes the same. Downsides: larger than a lighter and needs power.
