About this vaporizer
The CrossingTech Wireless One Hit Wonder (WOHW) is a corded desktop ball vape using ruby ball convection technology. It heats herbs through a heating coil element with PID temperature control. Up to 260°C, 30 seconds heat-up time. Compatible with 14mm and 18mm glass attachments. The modular system allows swapping bowls (Original Glass, Matrix, Micro Matrix) and heater housings (SS316, titanium). 1 year warranty.

The CrossingTech Wireless One Hit Wonder (WOHW) by CrossingTech is a corded desktop ball vape using ruby ball convection technology. The device heats herbs through a heating coil element with PID temperature control. True to its name: a single draw delivers full extraction. The WOHW operates with an external PID controller (220V AC) and reaches operating temperature in about 30 seconds.
CrossingTech specializes in ball vape systems. With 7 shops in our price comparison, the WOHW is widely available in Europe.

Ruby Ball Convection: How the WOHW Works
The WOHW uses 3mm ruby balls in a stainless steel or titanium housing as heat storage. A heating coil heats the balls, which evenly transfer heat to the passing air. The result: pure convection with no direct contact between heating element and material.
Ruby balls store heat extremely efficiently. Even during fast, powerful draws, the temperature stays stable. This is what sets ball vapes apart from conventional desktop vaporizers, where temperature drops during strong draws.
The PID controller regulates temperature precisely. Typical operating range: 180-260°C. Lower temps for flavor, higher for denser clouds.
Modular Bowl System
The WOHW features a modular bowl system. Standard equipment includes an Original Glass Bowl made from borosilicate glass. Optional accessories:
- Micro Matrix Bowl — matrix percolation for improved air distribution
- Titanium Matrix Bowl — more durable than glass, same percolation
- Microdose Bowl — smaller chamber for efficient microdosing
All bowls are compatible with 14mm and 18mm glass adapters, enabling use with bubblers and water pipes for cooler vapor.
PID Temperature Control
The WOHW operates with an external PID controller. PID stands for Proportional-Integral-Derivative — a control principle that maintains temperature within ±1°C. The Classic PID Controller (single-channel) is sufficient for the WOHW. Those wanting to run two devices simultaneously can use the Dual PID Controller.
The 220V EU version is included or available separately. Heat-up time is approximately 30 seconds to operating temperature.
WOHW V1 vs V2: What Is the Difference?
The WOHW V2 is the wireless evolution. While the V1 is always connected to the PID controller, the V2 offers a battery-powered wireless heater for mobile sessions. Both use the same bowls, housings, and ruby balls.
| Feature | WOHW V1 | WOHW V2 |
|---|---|---|
| Operation | Corded (PID) | Wireless + PID |
| Heating Coil | 20mm | 25mm |
| Housing | SS316 or Titanium | SS316 or Titanium |
| Bowls | All CrossingTech | All CrossingTech |
Choose the V2 for portability. The more affordable V1 + PID is ideal for stationary desktop use.
