The CrossingTech Core XL is a desktop e-nail system for concentrates with a digital temperature controller and titanium tip. It offers stable, continuous heating for extended sessions at home. Heating method: conduction. Maximum temperature 260°C. 3150mAh battery. Heating time approx. 15 seconds. Compatible with water pipe adapter.
The CrossingTech Core XL is slim and discreet — barely recognizable as a vaporizer at first glance. Metal or plastic housing protects the electronics. Single-button operation keeps things intuitive.
Heating Element
Concentrate pens typically use quartz, ceramic, or titanium coils that heat wax directly. Quartz delivers the purest flavor, ceramic heats more evenly, titanium is the most durable. Some models offer swappable coils for different material types.
Loading and Vaping
Place a rice-grain sized portion of concentrate directly on the coil. Don't overload — too much material clogs the coil and hurts flavor. Tap the button briefly (preheat) or hold to vape. Draw slowly and steadily. Let the coil run briefly after your draw.
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
Most concentrate pens use small batteries (300-900mAh) for 20-50 draws per charge. USB charging . Burn off the coil briefly after each use. Soak the coil in ISO every few weeks. Replace coils when flavor drops — typically every 2-4 weeks.
XL Bucket and Airflow Design
The Core XL earns its name from the enlarged bucket that holds roughly twice as much material as the standard version. The wider diameter means concentrates spread thinner across the heating surface, which promotes more even vaporization. Two side air inlets direct cool air upward past the bucket. Airflow is adjustable through a rotating ring at the base — open wide for relaxed draws or nearly closed for concentrated vapor. This layout reduces splatter that can occur with smaller buckets at high temperatures.
Coil Materials and Heat Transfer
CrossingTech offers the Core XL with three insert options: quartz, ceramic, and titanium. Quartz heats fastest and delivers intense flavor notes at lower temperatures around 260 to 315 degrees. The ceramic insert retains heat longer and suits extended sessions where steady temperature matters more than speed. Titanium combines quick ramp-up with good heat retention and handles higher wattage without material fatigue. All three inserts fit the same housing and swap without tools. A set of replacement seals is included in the box.
Cleaning the XL Bucket
The Core XL bucket holds more material than the standard version but also accumulates residue faster. A dry swab while the bucket is still warm handles routine cleaning after each session. For deeper cleaning every few days, unscrew the bucket and soak it in isopropanol for five minutes. The heating plate underneath can be gently dabbed with a dry cloth — liquid must not reach it. Discoloration on the quartz bucket is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance.
