About this vaporizer
The DaVinci IQC is the more affordable entry in the IQ series, aimed at users who want DaVinci quality without the full price of the IQ2. The conduction heating system with a zirconia ceramic vapor path and ceramic chamber reaches up to 221°C, delivering clean-tasting vapor. Smart Path mode automatically raises the temperature during a session for consistent extraction from start to finish. The app allows degree-precise temperature control. A replaceable 18650 battery (3000mAh) and passthrough charging via USB-C provide day-to-day flexibility. The compact aluminum body sits comfortably in hand. Dosing capsule support and WPA compatibility round out the package for a well-equipped mid-range portable.

How Does the Heating and Temperature Control Work?
The IQC uses conduction heating. Temperature goes up to 221 °C, heat-up takes roughly 30 seconds.
Conduction heats material through direct contact with the chamber walls. Fast heat-up and even extraction when the chamber is well-packed.
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
The IQC has a removable 3000 mAh battery. Passthrough charging works — you can use the device while it charges.
The swappable battery extends on-the-go use: bring a charged spare and keep going without hunting for an outlet.
How Portable and Ergonomic Is the Design?
The IQC is a portable vaporizer. It weighs 150 g — a comfortable weight for daily use.
What Accessories Are Compatible?
The IQC works with:
- dosing capsules (clean, quick loading)
- water pipe adapter (WPA, for cooler vapor)
- app control (Bluetooth)
Additional original accessories from DaVinci are available separately.
Verdict
The IQC is a portable vaporizer by DaVinci with conduction heating. It suits beginners and users looking for a straightforward device as well as dosing capsule users. Our price comparison shows it from 133.74 € incl. shipping at 99 shops.
Daily Use and Maintenance
The DaVinci IQC fits smoothly into a daily routine. Its zirconia vapor path keeps sessions clean-tasting, since zirconia does not retain odors or flavors between uses. After each session, brush out the chamber while it is still warm — loose material comes free easily at that point. The mouthpiece and pearl pull out for a quick isopropyl wipe. Full deep cleans are only needed every two to three weeks with regular use.
USB-C charging means one cable for your phone and your vaporizer. A full charge takes roughly 90 minutes and delivers about 60 to 80 minutes of session time depending on temperature. The IQC supports passthrough charging, so you can vape while plugged in — useful on a long evening at home.
IQC vs IQ2: Which DaVinci to Choose
DaVinci's lineup can be confusing from the outside. The IQC sits between the entry-level MIQRO-C and the premium IQ2. Compared to the IQ2, the IQC lacks adjustable airflow and Bluetooth, but it covers everything most users actually need: full temperature control from 120 °C to 221 °C, a Pearl chamber tool, and the same zirconia flavor path. The price difference is meaningful, and for non-app users the IQC is the smarter pick.
Compared to the MIQRO-C, the IQC offers a larger chamber (roughly 0.5 g capacity vs 0.3 g), longer battery life, and a more comfortable grip. Solo users who prefer shorter sessions might prefer the MIQRO-C, but for 30-minute sessions or sharing, the IQC is the right step up.
Compatible Accessories
The IQC works with DaVinci's own dosing oven lids and glass mouthpieces. The flavor chamber Pearl can be swapped for the standard mouthpiece to fine-tune draw resistance. A 10 mm water pipe adapter is available separately, allowing the IQC to connect to any 10 mm female joint for cooler, smoother hits. Third-party carry cases designed for the IQC are widely available, keeping the device protected during travel.
IQC without the app: simpler than it looks
Quick summary: The DaVinci IQC can be operated entirely without the app. Charge it via USB-C, fill the lower ceramic oven evenly and switch it on with five clicks. Smart Path 3 starts by default; directly on the device, you can switch between four Smart Paths and a precisely selected temperature.
1. Charge and check the battery
According to the manual, a full USB-C charge takes approximately two hours. The IQC uses a replaceable flat-top 18650 battery. Only use batteries approved by DaVinci, never transport loose cells together with metal objects and replace damaged batteries immediately.
2. Fill the ceramic oven
- Open the lower lid.
- Grind dry herbs to a medium-fine consistency and fill the glass-lined ceramic oven evenly.
- Pack the material firmly without completely blocking the airflow.
- Close the lid. The adjustable Pearl ball presses the material against the oven and helps ensure even heating.
3. Switch on and select a Smart Path
Press the control button five times in quick succession. The IQC starts with Smart Path 3 by default. Each of the four eight-minute programs gradually increases the temperature within a specific range:
- Smart Path 1 “Flavor”: 176–188 °C.
- Smart Path 2 “Mind”: 188–199 °C.
- Smart Path 3 “Body”: 199–210 °C.
- Smart Path 4 “Rest”: 210–221 °C.
Switch between Smart Paths using Plus or Minus. Neither the app nor a Bluetooth connection is required.
4. Precision Mode, Boost and the first draw
While in Smart Path mode, press the control button once and then use Plus or Minus to set a specific temperature. The device vibrates when it reaches the target temperature. Draw slowly and steadily. For a brief power boost, hold down the control button; the IQC will then heat to the maximum temperature of 430 °F (around 221 °C). When you release it, the device switches to standby mode and turns off after two minutes.
5. Switch off and clean
To switch it off, press the control button five times again. Allow the device and oven to cool before emptying the herb chamber. Regularly brush out loose plant residue and clean the Pearl, mouthpiece and flavor chamber as instructed in the manual. An unobstructed herb chamber and clean airways ensure even heating.
