The IQ3 has a zirconia airpath that is odor-neutral and easy to clean. The Pearl dosing system makes it possible to fill the chamber without direct contact with the material. After each session, loose material should be removed; for deeper cleaning, an alcohol-soaked pipe cleaner in the air channel is sufficient.
The stainless steel mouthpiece can be cleaned in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid. DaVinci recommends a full cleaning every 10-20 sessions, depending on the fill level. Dosage capsules make maintenance much easier and reduce residue in the chamber area.
