The IQ3 has a zirconia airpath, which is odor-neutral and easy to clean. The Pearl dosing system makes it possible to fill the chamber without direct contact with the material. After each session, loose material should be removed; for deeper cleaning, a pipe cleaner soaked in alcohol is sufficient in the air channel.
The stainless steel mouthpiece can be cleaned in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid. DaVinci recommends a full clean every 10-20 sessions, depending on the fill amount. Dosing capsules make maintenance much easier and reduce residue in the chamber area.
