The CrossingTech Titanium Matrix Bowl is a hybrid bowl for herbs that combines conduction and convection with Ruby Twist and wireless heating systems. Its bowl body is made from Grade 2 titanium, while interchangeable borosilicate glass joints provide the connection to glassware. This allows the hot heater housing to come into direct contact with the titanium while heated air flows through the plant material. At the same time, the design prevents an entirely metal bowl from becoming stuck in the glass joint due to thermal expansion. You can use the bowl in two operating modes. In injector mode, it holds approximately 0.3 g and is designed for a direct draw with full heat discharge. In diffuser mode, the capacity is approximately 0.5 g; this mode enables gentler, longer draws. A 14.4-mm glass joint is pre-installed. For glassware with a larger connection, it can be replaced with the included 18.8-mm joint. The Titanium Matrix Bowl is designed for full sessions, making it the larger sister of the Micro Matrix Bowl, which is intended for smaller loads and microdosing.

Construction and materials

The bowl body is made from Grade 2 titanium. The two interchangeable glass joints are made from borosilicate glass. This combination of materials allows the titanium body to contact the hot heater housing without placing an all-metal component directly inside the glass joint. Inside, a 19-mm stainless-steel mesh screen retains the plant material. Heat-resistant O-rings secure the interchangeable glass joints to the titanium body.

Compatibility

The bowl is compatible with the Ruby Twist V1 and Ruby Twist Pro. It is also designed for the Wireless One Hit Wonder V2, where it is included in the kit as the standard bowl. With the wireless system, it can be used with both the stainless-steel heater housing and the titanium heater housing. The two included glass joints allow the connection to fit either a 14.4 or 18.8 mm female joint.

What's included

You receive a Titanium Matrix Bowl made from Grade 2 titanium with a pre-installed 14.4-mm borosilicate glass joint. An interchangeable 18.8-mm glass joint is also included. For future replacement, the package contains a spare 19-mm stainless-steel mesh screen and two spare heat-resistant O-rings. Additional compatible replacement screens and glass joints are available separately as accessories.

Changing the glass joint

To change the joint, grip the bowl and glass joint firmly and pull the two parts straight apart. Do not twist or move the joint sideways. If it is firmly stuck, you can place the heater housing on the bowl for approximately 15 seconds. Then grip the warmed titanium section with an oven glove or cloth and pull the glass joint straight out. A small amount of O-ring lubricant will make future changes easier.

FAQ

Which heating systems are compatible with the Titanium Matrix Bowl?

It is compatible with the Ruby Twist V1, Ruby Twist Pro and Wireless One Hit Wonder V2. With the Wireless One Hit Wonder V2, it works with both the stainless-steel and titanium heater housings. The included 14.4 and 18.8 mm joints provide the connection to glassware.

What is the difference between the Titanium Matrix Bowl and the Micro Matrix Bowl?

The Titanium Matrix Bowl is the larger version for full sessions. It holds approximately 0.3 g in injector mode or approximately 0.5 g in diffuser mode. By contrast, the Micro Matrix Bowl is a smaller version intended for microdosing.

Which parts are included?

The package contains the titanium bowl with a pre-installed 14.4-mm glass joint, an interchangeable 18.8-mm glass joint, a spare 19-mm stainless-steel mesh screen and two spare heat-resistant O-rings. Both glass joints are made from borosilicate glass.

What materials is the bowl made from?

The bowl body is made from Grade 2 titanium, the glass joints from borosilicate glass and the screen from stainless-steel mesh. The hybrid construction combines direct heat contact at the titanium body with hot air flowing through the material, while keeping the metal body separate from the actual glass joint.

How do I remove a stuck glass joint, and which parts are subject to wear?

Pull the glass joint straight out without twisting or moving it sideways. If it is firmly stuck, heat the bowl with the heater housing for approximately 15 seconds and protect your hand with a cloth or oven glove. The screen and O-rings can be replaced, and suitable spare parts are already included.
