Check the serial number on the bottom of the device or the original packaging before using or buying the device second-hand. If there is a match, report it via the Arizer form; after review, Arizer will replace the device free of charge. Serial numbers and process at Arizer
The Solo 3 V2 is a powerful but comparatively heavy portable dry herb vaporizer at 280 g. Session and on-demand mode, four glass tubes, and operation whilst USB-C charging make it versatile; it is less suited to discreet pocket use.

Buying Verdict
The Solo 3 V2 is particularly well suited to users who want to switch between longer sessions and individual on-demand draws both at home and on the go. Weight, height, and fragile glass parts are the most important arguments against it.
Before You Click Buy: Version and Scope of Delivery
Make sure the listing explicitly states Solo III v2.0 or Solo 3 V2. Compare the standard and XL glass tubes in the specific scope of delivery and the details regarding the charger. For use on the go, size, glass transport, and the built-in battery are more decisive than the model designation alone. With old stock or second-hand purchases, a recall check is part of the process.
Heating and Modes
Arizer describes the system as hybrid heating with 80 per cent convection and 20 per cent conduction. Session Mode maintains the selected temperature, while On Demand Mode enables individual draws with separate time and temperature stages.
Temperature and Battery
The range runs from 50 to 220 °C; Arizer states 5 to 15 seconds heat-up time and up to three hours of use. The internal battery cannot be replaced by the user, but the device can be operated while charging via USB-C PD.
Scope of Delivery
The manufacturer's scope of delivery includes one standard and one XL glass aroma tube, one standard and one XL water filter tube with a 14 mm joint, a USB-C cable, silicone caps, PVC carry sleeves, a stirring tool, screens, and a manual.
Size and Warranty
The device measures 49 × 32 × 130 mm and weighs 280 g. Arizer states two years for materials and workmanship, one year for the battery, and lifetime coverage of the heating element; glass is excluded.
Operation & Use
The herb is loaded into one of the four glass aroma tubes included in the box. The scope of delivery includes one standard and one XL tube as well as one standard and one XL tube with a 14 mm joint.
Session and On Demand mode, temperature, and device settings are controlled via the buttons and the color display on the device. There is no companion app. Depending on the target temperature, Arizer states a heat-up time of 5–15 seconds.
Charging is via USB-C Power Delivery; use during charging is supported. The internal battery cannot be replaced by the user. For a battery replacement, Arizer offers a manufacturer service.
How Do I Clean and Maintain My Vaporizer?
For the Solo 3 V2, clean the removable glass aroma tubes — not the device itself in an alcohol bath. Arizer describes the device itself as largely maintenance-free. Residue accumulates mainly in the glass.
- Let the device and glass cool down before cleaning and remove the tube.
- Soak the glass in isopropyl alcohol for several hours, as described by Arizer Support.
- Then rinse the glass thoroughly with hot water and let it dry completely before reinserting.
These instructions apply to the glass tubes. They do not authorize filling the heating chamber or electronics with alcohol or submerging the device. For other components, refer to the Arizer care guide.
Correction of 07.10.2026: The previous care instructions did not adequately distinguish between the glass tube and the device. After checking Arizer's published care instructions, it now describes cleaning the removed glass tubes, followed by rinsing and complete drying. This does not constitute approval for an alcohol bath of the device.
What Are the Ideal Temperature Settings?
The right temperature on the Solo 3 V2 determines flavor, vapor density, and cannabinoid profile. Lower temperatures (170–185 °C) emphasize terpenes and deliver mild, aromatic vapor. Higher temperatures (195–210 °C) produce denser clouds and stronger effects.
Temperature Zones at a Glance
| Zone | Range | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Flavor | 170–185 °C | Mild, aromatic, little visible vapor |
| Balance | 185–195 °C | Good flavor with visible vapor |
| Dense clouds | 195–210 °C | Thick vapor, more intense effect |
Practical Tips
- Start at 180 °C and increase in 5-degree steps
- A finer grind often requires a 5–10 °C lower temperature
- In cold surroundings, raise the starting temperature by 5 °C
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
The Solo 3 V2 charges via USB-C Power Delivery and can be used while charging. If battery performance declines, the housing should not be opened: Arizer offers a replacement service for the built-in battery.

Error Codes & Troubleshooting: Error 1 to 14
Short answer: Arizer does not publish a list of error codes for the Solo 3 V2 — neither on the support page nor in the manual. Two things are documented: The retailer Planet of the Vapes describes Error 1 through 4 as charging and battery problems, and every code from Error 5 onward as an internal wiring or electronics problem. Arizer itself has publicly described Error 5 as a "general wiring or circuitry issue." For Error 8, 10, or 13 there is no separately published meaning; they belong to the group from Error 5 onward.
Error Codes at a Glance
| Code | Meaning per retailer support | First step |
|---|---|---|
| Error 1 | Battery-related problem | Charge with a different charger directly at a wall outlet, without a power strip or surge protector |
| Error 2 | General power issue: outlet, power adapter, USB cable, or battery | Replace cable and power adapter, test a second wall outlet |
| Error 3 | The charger is not delivering the appropriate power | Use a different cable and power adapter, directly at the wall outlet |
| Error 4 | The battery needs conditioning or holds a charge poorly | Run three to four full charge and discharge cycles; after a full charge, leave it plugged in for about 4.5 hours |
| Error 5 and above (also 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14) | Internal wiring or electronics | First rule out cable, power adapter, and outlet. If the code persists, contact Arizer service |
The table follows the Knowledge Base of Planet of the Vapes for the Solo 3 V2. Arizer does not publicly confirm this list and refers customers to its own service for issues.
Error 5, 8, 10 and 13: What Is Documented
Error 5: In a public reply to a Solo 3 V2 customer, Arizer wrote in October 2025 that the code indicates "a general wiring or circuitry issue rather than a specific defect." The device was repaired or replaced under warranty. The retailer list says the same for all codes from 5 onward.
Error 8, 10, 13 and 14: For these numbers, neither Arizer nor retailer support provides a specific cause. They fall under "Error 5 and above." Meanings circulating online for Error 6, 10, or 11 (overheating, power adapter) come from the list for the tabletop device XQ2 and do not apply to the Solo.
Solo 2 and other Arizer portables: The general retailer article on Arizer portables gives the same boundary — Error 5 and above stands for wiring or electronics. Whether Solo 3 and Solo 3 V2 differ in their codes is not documented anywhere.
These Displays Are Not Errors
Arizer describes three charging messages of the Solo 3 V2 that are often confused with a defect. ECO CHARGE: The device charges only up to 80 percent by default to protect the battery; for 100 percent, hold the up button while connected to the charger. LOW TEMP HOLD appears below 3 °C, HIGH TEMP HOLD above 48 °C — in both cases, charging pauses and resumes once the device is back within range.
Device Won't Turn On
The most common cause is a completely drained battery: According to Arizer, the Solo 3 V2 does not start as long as the battery is fully discharged. After 5 to 10 minutes on the charger, it can already be used while it continues charging. A full charge takes about 3 hours and provides approximately 3 hours of use depending on temperature.
Which Charger?
The Solo 3 V2 comes with a USB-C charger at 5 V and 3 A, and Arizer requires using only official chargers. Retailer support advises testing with a second charger for Error 1 through 3. Both can be reconciled: Test first with the original power adapter at a different wall outlet and with a different USB-C cable before trying a third-party power adapter.
Check Recall Regardless of Error Code
A recall is underway for the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) due to the battery. Whether your device is affected is determined by the beginning of the serial number on the device's bottom; the list is in the recall notice from Health Canada. A connection to a specific error code has not been documented.
When to Contact Arizer?
If a code persists after the charging chain checks, write to Arizer support ([email protected]) — with a brief problem description, name and mailing address, the serial number from the device's bottom, and a copy of the proof of purchase. The device has a two-year limited warranty, the battery one year, the heating element a lifetime warranty; glass is excluded. The battery is not user-replaceable, and shipping costs are borne by the customer according to the warranty terms.

Conclusion
The Arizer Solo 3 V2 combines, as a portable hybrid vaporizer (80% convection, 20% conduction), Session and On Demand mode, four glass aroma tubes including XL variants, and USB-C Power Delivery with use during charging. For a long-term assessment, what counts is less any single peak figure than the interplay of glass vapor path, battery concept, and everyday usability.
According to Arizer, the confirmed specifications are 50–220 °C, 5–15 seconds heat-up time, up to three hours of runtime per charge, a two-year warranty on the device, one year on the battery, and a lifetime warranty on the heating element. The XL tubes hold approximately double the herb quantity; the variants with a 14 mm joint connect to water filters without an additional adapter.
The limitations are equally well documented: the battery is fixed and can only be replaced via the Arizer service, and the manufacturer does not publish a mAh figure. At 280 g and 130 mm in length, the Solo 3 V2 is not a pocket device, and the glass tubes are excluded from the warranty — if one breaks, you buy a replacement.
The Solo 3 V2 suits users who want flavor through a pure glass vapor path and the choice between an extended session and a quick on-demand draw, and who accept the size and fixed battery in return. Anyone who needs a replaceable battery or a pocket-sized form factor will be better served by other devices; the comparison pages for the Solo 3 V2 show where the differences lie.
