Troubleshooting & Error Messages
Short answer: Arizer does not publish a list of error codes for the Solo 3 V2 - neither on the support page nor in the manual. Two things are documented: The retailer Planet of the Vapes describes Error 1 through 4 as charging and battery problems, and every code from Error 5 onward as an internal wiring or electronics problem. Arizer itself has publicly described Error 5 as a "general wiring or circuitry issue." For Error 8, 10, or 13 there is no separately published meaning; they belong to the group from Error 5 onward.

Error 5, 8, 10 and 13: What Is Documented
Error 5: In a public reply to a Solo 3 V2 customer, Arizer wrote in October 2025 that the code indicates "a general wiring or circuitry issue rather than a specific defect." The device was repaired or replaced under warranty. The retailer list says the same for all codes from 5 onward.
Error 8, 10, 13 and 14: For these numbers, neither Arizer nor retailer support provides a specific cause. They fall under "Error 5 and above." Meanings circulating online for Error 6, 10, or 11 (overheating, power adapter) come from the list for the tabletop device XQ2 and do not apply to the Solo.
Solo 2 and other Arizer portables: The general retailer article on Arizer portables gives the same boundary - Error 5 and above stands for wiring or electronics. Whether Solo 3 and Solo 3 V2 differ in their codes is not documented anywhere.
These Displays Are Not Errors
Arizer describes three charging messages of the Solo 3 V2 that are often confused with a defect. ECO CHARGE: The device charges only up to 80 percent by default to protect the battery; for 100 percent, hold the up button while connected to the charger. LOW TEMP HOLD appears below 3 °C, HIGH TEMP HOLD above 48 °C - in both cases, charging pauses and resumes once the device is back within range.
Device Won't Turn On
The most common cause is a completely drained battery: According to Arizer, the Solo 3 V2 does not start as long as the battery is fully discharged. After 5 to 10 minutes on the charger, it can already be used while it continues charging. A full charge takes about 3 hours and provides approximately 3 hours of use depending on temperature.
Which Charger?
The Solo 3 V2 comes with a USB-C charger at 5 V and 3 A, and Arizer requires using only official chargers. Retailer support advises testing with a second charger for Error 1 through 3. Both can be reconciled: Test first with the original power adapter at a different wall outlet and with a different USB-C cable before trying a third-party power adapter.
Check Recall Regardless of Error Code
A recall is underway for the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) due to the battery. Whether your device is affected is determined by the beginning of the serial number on the device's bottom; the list is in the recall notice from Health Canada. A connection to a specific error code has not been documented.
When to Contact Arizer?
If a code persists after the charging chain checks, write to Arizer support ([email protected]) - with a brief problem description, name and mailing address, the serial number from the device's bottom, and a copy of the proof of purchase. The device has a two-year limited warranty, the battery one year, the heating element a lifetime warranty; glass is excluded. The battery is not user-replaceable, and shipping costs are borne by the customer according to the warranty terms.
