Extreme Q: setting the temperature
The Extreme Q adjusts from 50 to 260 °C in 1 °C increments. The arrow buttons on the unit change the target value; the remote additionally offers temperature presets and plus/minus buttons. Celsius and Fahrenheit can be switched.
The displayed target value is not a measurement taken directly inside the herb load. Fill amount, airflow, and glass setup all influence the result; a temperature reading alone therefore does not describe a complete session. Check the connected accessories and the model-specific instructions first.

Extreme Q: cleaning and maintenance
Turn the Extreme Q off and let hot glass parts cool down before cleaning. The unit itself should not be submerged in water. Check glass for cracks or chips; sudden temperature changes — for example cold water on hot glass — can damage it.

Extreme Q: operation and initial setup
The Extreme Q is a desktop unit for whip or balloon use. The setup includes the Cyclone bowl and the glass accessories appropriate for the chosen draw method. Before switching the unit on, check that all glass parts are undamaged and properly inserted.
Temperature and fan are controlled on the unit or via the remote. The fan has three speeds and assists in filling the balloon. The direct whip mode does not require a filled balloon. Change the setup only after the glass parts have cooled, and use the Extreme Q instructions — not those of the XQ2: accessories and operation are not fully identical.
Extreme Q vs Solo 3 V2
The Extreme Q and Solo 3 V2 serve different purposes. The Extreme Q stays in a fixed location as a desktop unit and can be used with a whip or balloon. The Solo 3 V2 runs on a battery, uses glass aroma tubes, and offers Session as well as on-demand operation.
