Function

The Elbow Adapter sits between the heater cover and the whip tubing or balloon. It contains a screen that filters plant particles. The 90° bend allows comfortable balloon or whip attachment without stressing the glass bowl.

Elbow-Pack Technique

Experienced Extreme Q users pack material directly into the Elbow instead of the glass bowl. This improves convection as hot air flows through the compact material. Less material needed, more intense flavor. A popular trick in the Arizer community.

Cleaning

Soak the Elbow Adapter in isopropanol and rinse with warm water. Replace or clean the screen regularly. With the elbow-pack method, the adapter gets dirty faster — more frequent cleaning needed. Glass is dishwasher-safe.

Using as Micro-Dosing Tool

Fill the Elbow Adapter directly instead of the glass tube — the smaller opening holds about 0.05 g. Ideal for micro-dosing with the Extreme Q or V-Tower. Insert screen side inward and fill loosely.
