DynaVap M Plus

The DynaVap M Plus runs without a battery or electronics. You heat a stainless steel cap with a lighter and wait for the click – that's your temperature signal. Small, fast, and efficient: the M Plus needs just 0.05–0.1 g per load.

1. Prepare Your Torch

Use a single or dual-flame jet lighter. Regular soft flames (like a BIC) don't work well – they heat too slowly and unevenly. Fill the jet lighter with butane gas before first use. You can also use an induction heater if you prefer to skip the open flame.

2. Load the Tip

Remove the cap. Grind your herbs medium-fine and fill the tip loosely – about 0.05 to 0.1 g is all you need. Don't press it down! With DynaVap, less is more. Put the cap back on – it should snap into place with a light click.

3. Heat It Up

Hold the DynaVap at a 45-degree angle and apply the flame to the cap. Rotate continuously so the heat spreads evenly.

• Flame near the base of the cap – longer heat-up, thicker vapor, stronger extraction
• Flame near the tip of the cap – faster heat-up, lighter vapor, more flavor

Wait for the CLICK. That's your signal: remove the flame immediately.

4. Draw Technique

After the click: draw slowly for 8–10 seconds. The airport (carb hole) on the side controls your airflow:

• Cover the airport – thicker vapor, more resistance
• Leave it open – cooler, lighter draw

Try different combos – everyone finds their own sweet spot.

5. Respect the Cool-Down Click

After your draw, the cap cools down. You'll hear a second click – that's the cool-down click. Only reheat after this second click. Going back to the flame before it clicks risks combustion instead of vaporization. You'll typically get 2–3 heat cycles per bowl.

6. After Your Session

Let the DynaVap cool down completely. Remove the cap, push out the spent material with the condenser. Wipe the tip with a dry cloth. Once a week, soak the condenser and tip in isopropyl alcohol and check the o-rings for wear.

5 Common Beginner Mistakes

• Heating past the click – The most common mistake. Stop heating the moment you hear the click, or you'll combust.
• Not rotating – Without rotation you get hot spots. One side burns while the other stays cold.
• Using a soft flame lighter – BIC flames are too diffuse. You need a jet lighter for precise heating.
• Packing too tight – Blocks airflow completely. Fill loosely, don't press down.
• Skipping the cool-down click – Reheating before the second click = combustion. Patience pays off every time.

The core of the M Plus is the Captive Cap. As it heats up, it expands and produces a distinct clicking sound at around 185–230°C. That click is your signal to inhale. After your draw, the cap cools down and clicks again, telling you the cycle is over.

It sounds simple, and it is – but it works. Apply the flame higher on the cap for lower temperatures and more flavor. Move it lower for denser vapor. No buttons, no app, no display. Just your ears and a little practice.

The M Plus is machined from medical-grade stainless steel throughout. No plastic parts, no rubber seals, no battery cells that fade after two years. Drop it on concrete and pick it back up – it will be fine. After years of daily use, it barely looks different from day one.

The body features a series of small indentations along the stem that improve grip and add a bit of visual texture. At 21 g it is one of the lightest vaporizers on the market. There is genuinely nothing fragile about it.

The M Plus uses hybrid heating. The chamber walls transfer heat directly into the herb (conduction), while hot air passes through the material at the same time (convection). The result is rich, flavorful vapor from a very small load.

Near the bottom of the M Plus stem is the airport – a small hole you can cover with your thumb, fully or partially. Open airport gives a light, airy draw. Covering it concentrates the vapor noticeably. Most users settle on a middle ground after a few sessions.

The M Plus connects directly to water pipes via its 10mm fitting, which fits most standard bongs. Dosing capsules (sold separately) allow quick strain changes and keep the chamber much cleaner between sessions.

A torch lighter is the standard heat source – unless you use an induction heater. Devices like the Ispire Wand or the DynaVap Induction Heater warm the Captive Cap via a magnetic field in around 3–5 seconds. No open flame, no butane, no fire near the device at all.

The click mechanism works exactly the same. Induction heaters cost extra but make a real difference for indoor sessions or anyone who prefers not to deal with a torch. The M Plus stays the same device – only the heat source changes.
