Technical values come from the current product page, the manufacturer’s 176-page manual and the support articles on technology, charging and warranty. Practical observations are attributed to tests by Planet of the Vapes, Vaporizer Wizard, 420 VapeZone and Troy and Jerry. Retailer claims are not used as primary evidence.

Where sources differ, the more specific technical documentation takes precedence: the manual states 15.7 × 5.5 × 3.7 cm, while the German shop page shows a width of 4.7 cm. The catalogue therefore follows the manual and Technical Overview and documents the discrepancy.

STORZ & BICKEL explicitly describes the mini heater as a combination of convection and conduction. Hot air extracts during the draw, while contact heat from the chamber continues to warm the material between draws. The VENTY is therefore a session device rather than a pure convection platform.

The flow meter detects the negative pressure during inhalation and dynamically regulates the heater. This explains why several tests describe stable performance even during powerful draws. Nevertheless, it does not guarantee identical results: load, moisture, grind, airflow and temperature remain relevant.

The adjustment wheel on the cooling unit has three clearly recognisable positions, but is continuously adjustable between them. Opening it wide reduces draw resistance and mixes the vapour with more air; narrowing it increases resistance and may subjectively increase density. The manufacturer specifies a maximum of 20 l/min.

The reviews agree unusually clearly on the fundamental finding: the free airflow is the distinguishing feature. “Completely resistance-free” nevertheless remains a subjective description; screens, dosing capsules and contamination alter the actual draw.

The base temperature can be set degree by degree from 40 to 210 °C. The VENTY starts at 180 °C by default. A double-click activates the Booster at +15 °C, raising it to 195 °C; another double-click activates the Superbooster with a further +15 °C, up to a maximum of 210 °C. Offsets can be adjusted via the Web App.

A sensible approach is to start lower for flavour and increase the temperature only when needed. A universal “best temperature” would be misleading because the material, load size and desired result vary.

The product page and Technical Overview state 20 seconds. The manual clarifies that, depending on the battery level, surroundings, device and the quantity and type of material, the process may take at least 17 seconds. The 20-second figure is therefore a typical manufacturer value, not a stopwatch guarantee under all conditions.

The short waiting time is a genuine everyday advantage over older S&B portable devices. However, it does not automatically make the VENTY an on-demand device because the chamber continues to transfer heat after heating up.

According to the product page, the hard ceramic-coated chamber holds 1.4 cm³. The device is intended for ground plant material or dry herbs; the current product page does not identify it as a concentrate vaporizer. Earlier third-party claims concerning concentrates are therefore not included.

The manual recommends filling the chamber to the rim without compressing the material or overfilling it. Excess particles around the rim should be removed before attaching the cooling unit with a quarter turn.

Original S&B dosing capsules are optionally compatible and are inserted with the cap facing upwards. The manual explicitly warns that they may impair airflow. Vaporizer Wizard likewise observed greater resistance and notes that capsules are not included as standard.

They are particularly worthwhile for pre-prepared portions and a cleaner chamber. Anyone prioritising the most open draw should compare the difference with a directly filled chamber.

Planet of the Vapes, Vaporizer Wizard, 420 VapeZone and Troy and Jerry describe dense, flavourful vapour with an unusually free draw. This consensus is more robust than a single quotation, but it remains a collection of external experiences rather than a VapoChecker series of measurements.

The hybrid principle produces vapour early in the session and provides ample heating reserve. At the same time, the material continues to warm between draws. Anyone spreading a chamberful over many hours and taking only individual draws will benefit more from true on-demand convection.

The manufacturer confirms two 18650-format lithium-ion batteries and maximum power consumption of 130 W. It does not publish an mAh capacity for the VENTY. The former “2 × 3,000 mAh” figure came from an ambiguous review statement and is included neither in the data field nor in the new text.

The manual makes it clear that the batteries cannot be replaced by users. Replacement should be handled by S&B service. Battery life is therefore strong, but long-term battery maintenance is less flexible than with devices using replaceable cells.

There is no official sessions-per-charge specification. Planet of the Vapes and 420 VapeZone each document 12 chamberfuls, Vaporizer Wizard averages 10 to 14, and Troy and Jerry reports 10 to 12. This range is plausible across several tests, but must not be interpreted as a guarantee.

Temperature, draw duration, pauses, surroundings and battery age affect the result. The structured “sessions per charge” field therefore remains empty; the measurements appear only with source context in the review.

According to support information, the VENTY reaches around 80 % in 40 minutes with the official USB-C Supercharger. Less powerful power supplies charge it considerably more slowly. The ECO charging mode in the Web App reduces charging stress in favour of longer battery life.

Pass-through is expressly unsupported: during operation, the device requires more than 100 W, which is more than the charger can supply simultaneously. Charge first, then use it. The VENTY is therefore not a wired replacement for a desktop vaporizer.

Three buttons and the LC display are sufficient for on/off control, temperature and the three temperature levels. Bluetooth and the S&B Web App add features including temperature offsets, display brightness, ECO charging, device data and firmware updates. The core functions remain usable without the app.

This is important for the purchasing decision: the app is an optional configuration tool, not a requirement for a normal session. Browser and device compatibility should be checked before purchase if app functions are essential.

The VENTY switches off automatically two minutes after the last use or button press. A short press of the power button resets the timer to two minutes. This logic saves energy, but requires conscious interaction during long pauses.

The device primarily operates as a session vaporizer: heat it up, take several draws and then switch it off. Briefly switching it off and on again cannot immediately remove heat from the material and therefore does not provide a fully fledged on-demand mode.

The manual and Technical Overview state 15.7 × 5.5 × 3.7 cm at approximately 252 g. The current German product page differs by showing a width of 4.7 cm. Because two technical manufacturer documents state 5.5 cm, we use that value and openly disclose the discrepancy.

According to several reviews, the narrow body sits comfortably in the hand, but it is large and heavy for tight trouser pockets. A case protects the mouthpiece, cooling unit and display and prevents herb residue or odour from being transported openly.

STORZ & BICKEL specifies medical-grade PEEK, a hard ceramic-coated filling chamber and biocompatible components in the air path. The Technical Overview also lists UL 8139 and IEC 60335-1 as safety standards. These specifications concern material and device safety and do not automatically constitute medical approval for the VENTY.

The VENTY should not be equated with the MIGHTY+ MEDIC or VOLCANO MEDIC 2. Anyone requiring an approved medical device must check the specific Medic model and its regional approval.

The manual recommends brushing out the screens in the filling chamber and cooling unit after every use. The cooling unit should be inspected before every use and cleaned no later than seven days after the last use or whenever deposits are visible.

The actual requirement depends on the material, frequency and temperature. Noticeably tighter airflow is a practical warning sign, but not a reason to ignore visible deposits until that point.

1. Completely disassemble the cooling unit according to the manual and set the seals and screens aside separately.
2. Clean the parts in warm washing-up water for at least five minutes or soak them in isopropyl alcohol for no more than 30 minutes.
3. Rinse all parts under running water for at least one minute.
4. Allow them to dry completely and position the seals correctly during reassembly.

Clean the housing only with a dry or damp cloth. Never immerse the device or USB-C cable; do not use overly wet cotton buds on the chamber.

The standard warranty is two years. Anyone who registers the VENTY within four weeks of purchase receives an additional limited year in many countries. Proof of purchase and a customer account are required.

Country-specific exceptions apply; in several markets, the additional year is unavailable or subject to further conditions. The structured data field therefore conservatively shows two years and explains the possible third year separately.

The Technical Overview lists the device, quick-start guide, filling chamber tool, USB-C-to-USB-C cable, two O-rings, several coarse and fine screens, two cooling unit screens and a cleaning brush. The Supercharger, dosing capsules and carrying case are accessories and are not universally included in the standard box.

The Supercharger offers the greatest functional benefit when reaching 80 % in 40 minutes matters. Capsules simplify portioning, but may restrict airflow. Given the device’s size, mouthpiece and cooling unit, a case is more practical than decorative accessories.

At the time of the source check on 28.08.2026, the manufacturer’s price was 448 euros; retailer prices on VapoChecker are updated dynamically. A fixed price in the body text is not a purchasing argument because offers and availability change.
