Short answer: VENTY is STORZ & BICKEL’s high-airflow portable vaporizer. The manufacturer lists hybrid convection-and-conduction heating, a 40–210 °C range, approximately 20 seconds of heat-up, a 1.4 cm³ ceramic-coated filling chamber, about 252 g weight and adjustable airflow up to 20 litres per minute. Its two lithium-ion batteries are integrated, but the current technical overview does not publish a mAh capacity. The official Supercharger reaches about 80 % in 40 minutes. VENTY cannot be used in pass-through mode, and airflow is changed with the physical setting wheel rather than app presets.

What this VENTY review is—and is not

This page evaluates the buying proposition using current manufacturer documentation. It distinguishes a published specification from marketing language and both from an independent observation. That matters for VENTY because short summaries often turn qualified claims into absolutes: “20-second heat-up” becomes every user’s measured result, “80 % in 40 minutes” becomes a full charge, and Bluetooth connectivity becomes an imaginary airflow remote control.

No undocumented hands-on history is presented here. Without a named test unit, firmware, session log, material protocol, charging setup and raw measurements, VapoChecker should not claim months of use, a fixed number of sessions, exact battery degradation or a universal flavour score. Manufacturer documentation can answer what the device is designed to do. It cannot prove how every person experiences aerosol temperature, throat comfort or taste, and it does not make use risk-free.

Hybrid mini-heater, chamber and temperature range

STORZ & BICKEL describes the VENTY’s mini-heater as combining convection and conduction. Calling it pure convection would omit the chamber’s conductive contribution. The filling chamber is listed at 1.4 cm³ with a hard ceramic coating. These are device-construction facts from the manufacturer, not independent findings about flavour, emissions or extraction efficiency.

Temperature can be set from 40 to 210 °C. The physical controls provide Booster and Superbooster steps; the product page describes each preset increase as 15 °C. The manufacturer advertises heat-up in about 20 seconds. Actual time can depend on start temperature, selected target, ambient conditions and charge state, so the number should retain “about” rather than becoming a universal stopwatch result.

The support guide says the device switches off automatically two minutes after the last use or button press, and a brief press during operation resets that timer. This automatic window is not the same as a guaranteed session count per charge. A runtime claim would need a defined target temperature, heater cycles, draw pattern, idle time, firmware and battery condition. The current primary sources do not provide a universal 45–70 minute runtime or a fixed number of sessions, so this article does not invent one.

The key feature: physical airflow adjustment up to 20 l/min

VENTY’s differentiating feature is its adjustable airflow. STORZ & BICKEL specifies a setting wheel with three reference positions: one notch for low, two for medium and three for high. The high position is listed at 20 litres per minute. The adjustment is described as stepless between those positions, allowing the opening to be tuned without selecting a software profile.

This corrects a common category error. The S&B Web App can adjust supported software settings, including temperature and ECO charging mode, and provides software updates and information. It does not turn airflow into an app preset. The physical wheel remains the control that changes the air opening. A source-based article should not promise remote airflow automation that the operation guide does not describe.

Twenty litres per minute is a manufacturer airflow specification, not a promise of identical perceived resistance. Filling density, screen condition, cooling-unit cleanliness and a dosing capsule can affect real use. The manufacturer explicitly notes that dosing capsules may reduce airflow. This makes maintenance and loading technique part of the practical decision, while leaving subjective comfort to a disclosed hands-on test.

Charging: 80% in 40 minutes, no pass-through

The official charging page is unambiguous. With the STORZ & BICKEL USB-C Supercharger, VENTY can reach approximately 80 % charge in 40 minutes. Standard USB-C quick chargers charge at a different rate, and low-power chargers can take significantly longer. The display visualises progress with ascending fields and varying flash speed.

It is incorrect to call the 40-minute figure a full charge. A fully charged state is shown when all six charge-status fields remain steadily illuminated. The last portion of lithium-ion charging commonly follows a different profile, and the support article intentionally quotes 80 %, not 100 %.

It is also incorrect to promise use while plugged in. STORZ & BICKEL explicitly says VENTY does not support pass-through charging. The company explains that the device draws more than 100 W during operation, beyond what the relevant USB-C charger can supply, and instructs users to wait until charging is complete before use. This differs from the MIGHTY+, whose conditional pass-through is separately documented. Features cannot be transferred across the product family.

The technical overview lists two integrated lithium-ion batteries but no current mAh capacity. Therefore figures such as “2 × 3,000 mAh” should not appear as verified VENTY specifications. They may circulate in retailer databases or older summaries, but a present primary-source table should either identify a versioned source or leave capacity unquantified. Likewise, no exact cycle-life or yearly degradation percentage is justified by the documentation reviewed here.

Buttons, display, Bluetooth and the Web App

Core operation does not depend on a phone. VENTY has an LC display and physical buttons for temperature and boost controls. Bluetooth and the Web App add configuration functions. The current product page names temperature adjustment, ECO charging mode, software updates and information among the app capabilities. Display brightness can also be changed directly by holding plus and minus, according to the technical overview.

ECO charging mode is presented as a way to moderate power flow with the aim of reducing long-term battery degradation. That is a manufacturer feature description, not evidence for an exact increase in battery lifespan. A careful review can explain what the setting does without promising a particular number of extra cycles.

Buyers in managed-network environments should also distinguish initial functionality from optional connectivity. The physical controls provide the main temperature and airflow operation; app availability, browser support and wireless compatibility can change. Firmware updates may be useful, but a purchase decision should not assume every phone and browser will remain supported indefinitely.

Size and the manufacturer’s width discrepancy

The current support technical overview gives 15.7 × 5.5 × 3.7 cm and approximately 252 g. The current product page displays 15.7 cm height, 3.7 cm depth and 4.7 cm width. Because these are two live pages from the same manufacturer, silently selecting the smaller number would create false certainty. The support/manual figure is used in the summary while this discrepancy remains visible.

The buying implication is more important than an unexplained eight millimetres: at 252 g and roughly 15.7 cm tall, VENTY is transportable but not ultracompact. Anyone purchasing for a specific case or pocket should check the current drawing and the dimensions of the actual revision rather than relying on a generic “pocket-sized” label.

Loading, dosing capsules and maintenance

The operation guide says to remove the cooling unit, fill the chamber with crushed plant material to the rim without overfilling or compressing it tightly, then reattach the cooling unit. It also warns that dosing capsules can reduce airflow. That is enough to establish manufacturer-supported capsule use as a method, but not enough to say every capsule format or third-party accessory is compatible.

Before cleaning or maintenance, the device should be switched off and unplugged. Air openings must remain unobstructed, and cleaning-agent vapours should have evaporated before operation. Users should follow the part-specific current instructions rather than immersing the electronic body or applying a single solvent rule to every seal and component. Damaged devices or power accessories should not be operated.

Warranty and registration conditions

The current warranty article describes two years plus an optional one-year limited S&B warranty for VENTY. To receive the additional year, an eligible device must be registered within four weeks of purchase. Valid proof of purchase is required, and country exceptions can remove or condition the extra year.

Writing “three years” without those conditions overstates the promise. A buyer should retain the invoice, register promptly where eligible and verify the applicable regional policy. Covered warranty repair and paid out-of-warranty repair are different routes, and neither supports a permanent universal repair price in a review.

Source-based verdict: who is VENTY for?

VENTY is a strong paper fit for buyers who prioritise very high published airflow, physical airflow adjustment, fast manufacturer-rated heat-up, a broad 40–210 °C range and direct controls backed by optional app settings. The clearest reason to choose it within the S&B portable range is the airflow system, not an unsupported claim that it produces a universally superior sensory result.

It is less suitable for buyers who require pass-through use, user-replaceable cells, a published mAh figure or a very small and light body. Its 80 % fast-charge figure is useful, but it does not turn VENTY into a cord-powered device. At about 252 g, portability should be judged against the intended bag, pocket and journey.

The defensible conclusion is that VENTY combines a documented hybrid heater with unusually high and adjustable airflow. Its compromises are integrated cells, no pass-through and a substantial body. Real battery runtime, flavour, comfort and long-term reliability require versioned independent testing; they should not be fabricated to make the verdict sound more decisive.

Frequently asked questions

Does VENTY fully charge in 40 minutes?

No. STORZ & BICKEL says the official Supercharger can reach approximately 80 % in 40 minutes. The manufacturer does not describe that figure as a full charge.

Can VENTY be used while charging?

No pass-through mode is supported. The official charging guide instructs users to wait until charging is complete before use.

What is the VENTY battery capacity?

The current technical overview lists two integrated lithium-ion batteries but does not publish a mAh figure. This review therefore does not present “2 × 3,000 mAh” as a verified current specification.

Is VENTY convection or hybrid?

STORZ & BICKEL describes a combination of convection and conduction, so hybrid is the accurate manufacturer classification.

Is airflow adjusted in the app?

No. Airflow is adjusted on the physical setting wheel, with low, medium and high reference positions and stepless adjustment. The Web App controls other supported functions such as temperature and ECO charging mode.

How fast does VENTY heat up?

The manufacturer states approximately 20 seconds. It is a published manufacturer figure rather than an independent guarantee for every target temperature and condition.

How long is the VENTY warranty?

The current policy states two years plus an optional limited year after registration within four weeks, subject to proof of purchase and country exceptions.
