The Elev8R by 7th Floor uses ruby balls inside a glass tube as thermal mass. A butane torch heats the balls to operating temperature in about 30-45 seconds. When you draw through the device, air passes over the hot balls and reaches vaporization temperature. The thermal mass holds temperature steady across multiple draws. Compared to electronic ball vapes like the Qaroma, there's no controller warm-up time, but you need a decent torch.

The Elev8R's glass tube is made from borosilicate — the same material used in lab equipment. It handles thermal shock that would shatter regular glass. The balls sit loose inside and can be poured out for cleaning. It fits any 18mm bong or dry piece. With no moving parts or electronics, there's essentially nothing that can break.

The Elev8R uses a butane torch to heat a glass wand that sits inside the bowl. Heat the wand tip for 25-30 seconds with a single-flame torch, then insert it into the loaded bowl and draw. The glass-on-glass design means zero electronic components and pure flavor. Rotate the torch flame around the wand tip for even heating. Let the wand cool for 60 seconds between hits to prevent overheating your material.

All Elev8R components are borosilicate glass — durable but not indestructible. Soak all pieces in isopropyl alcohol overnight for deep cleaning. Rinse with warm water and air dry. The wand collects reclaim (concentrated residue) that can be harvested by soaking in grain alcohol. Handle heated glass with the included silicone sleeve. Replace cracked or chipped pieces immediately — micro-fractures can cause sudden breaks during heating.
