About this vaporizer
Sticky Brick Runt is a flame-powered convection block built by Sticky Brick Labs in the USA. Its hardwood chassis routes fresh air through a glass intake, so the flame never contacts the herbs yet can reach about 230 °C with only a three-second pull. There is no battery or warm-up curve—just instant heat as soon as you aim the torch.
Magnets hold the intake, carb and mouthpiece together, making it easy to stir the glass bowl or drop in stainless dosing capsules for travel. The Runt's short vapor path concentrates flavor, and the direct draw mouthpiece keeps the footprint tiny even though it still pairs well with j-hooks or simple whips.
Pick the Runt when you want desktop-level density but prefer the ritual of a jet lighter. You do need a single or dual-flame torch and a steady hand to regulate distance from the intake, because there is no WPA included and overheating can happen if you hover too close. Master the rhythm and it rewards you with instant, terpy macro hits.

Pure convection through butane flame
The Runt uses a butane flame directed through a glass intake into the herb chamber. The flame never touches the herb – only hot air does. That means pure convection and clean, flavour-packed vapor. The technique takes some practice: angle and distance of the flame control the temperature. Once you get it down, the Runt delivers thick clouds in a fraction of a second.
Handmade hardwood from the USA
Each Sticky Brick is crafted in the USA from hardwood. Walnut, cherry, or oak depending on the batch. The build quality is visibly solid: tight tolerances, beautiful grain, and a tactile feel that gives the Runt real character. Unlike glass vaporizers, it can survive the occasional drop.
3-second heat-up – true on-demand
Where electronic devices need 10 to 30 seconds, the Runt is instant. Flame in, draw, done. Between hits, nothing happens – no power draw, no wasted material. For users who prefer single hits over long sessions, this is the way to go. The herb chamber holds enough for 2 to 4 solid draws.
Compact and tough
At 200 g with a compact footprint, the Runt is the most portable Sticky Brick. It fits in a jacket pocket, though it is not as slim as a pen vaporizer. The only glass part is the flame intake – replacement parts are affordable. The wood body is practically indestructible under normal use.
Cleaning and accessories
The glass parts clean with isopropyl alcohol, and you wipe the wood surface with a dry cloth. The screen in the herb chamber should be replaced regularly. Dosing capsules from Sticky Brick Labs fit and make dosing easier. Some users pair the Runt with water filtration through third-party adapters, though the standard version does not include a WPA.
Butane Convection
The Runt by Sticky Brick uses a jet flame to push hot air through the herb -- pure convection with no direct flame contact. Only hot air heats the material. The result: clean, flavorful vapor.
Temperature control depends on flame distance and heating time. Experienced users hit the sweet spot in seconds. Around 230 °C working temperature covers everything from light flavor pulls to thick clouds. The Runt is more compact than its big brother, the Sticky Brick OG.
Wood Craftsmanship
Each Runt is carved from solid hardwood. Sticky Brick uses various woods -- walnut, cherry, and others. Every piece has unique grain and color. Handmade quality shows in the precise air channel bores and smooth finish.
Wood sits warm in the hand and does not heat up like metal. Glass components (intake and mouthpiece) come out for cleaning. The wood itself just needs occasional wiping.
Flame Technique Tip
Hold the torch flame about one centimeter from the intake and feather your draw speed. A slow, steady pull with the flame just kissing the edge of the intake gives the thickest results without scorching the herb.
