QaromaShop Staroma 3.0 is the stainless steel version (SS316) of the Taroma 3.0 and brings the Staroma Lite Plus concept into an enclosed design. Compared with the Staroma 2.0, it has less mass, more ruby pearls, and more open airflow. According to QaromaShop, the Staroma 3.0 is the latest iteration of the Staroma line and the SS316 version of the Taroma 3.0. It adopts the Staroma Lite Plus concept, but with an enclosed design.
Compared with the Staroma 2.0, it has less mass, lower operating temperatures, more ruby beads, and more open airflow. The Gemstone Chamber holds more than 300 ruby beads measuring 3 mm, most of which are located in the heating coil zone. The chamber controls the airflow and retains heat better due to the additional mass; it should not be overfilled.
The kit includes a fitted 20-mm coil that connects to the PID controller via a five-pin XLR connector. The Staroma 3.0 requires the same amount of coil stretching as a Staroma Lite Plus: The coil is stretched slightly longer than the Gemstone Chamber and then pushed back with the cap like a spring so that it fits securely. QaromaShop also sells a pre-stretched coil separately.

The DIY kit includes the SS316 housing, a glass Adapter Bowl with a 14- or 18-mm joint or both, the 20-mm coil, the PID controller with a US or EU plug, a coil handle made from Walnut StabWood, a porcelain stand, two packages of 3-mm ruby beads, 17-mm stainless steel screens, as well as a spoon and stirring tool. For power, you can choose between 110 V (US) and 220 V.
A glass piece with a compatible connection for the Adapter Bowl is not included in the package list. QaromaShop excludes warranties and returns; only products that arrive defective or damaged will be handled if you contact the company within 24 hours and provide a photo or video.
