According to QaromaShop, the Lite Plus is designed to push the limits of a 20 mm heating coil while retaining the characteristics of the Taroma Lite. Its ratio of housing mass to gemstone mass clearly favors the gemstones: The Grade 2 titanium housing has a reduced diameter and weighs only 23 g, while the extended chamber normally holds 300 to 310 3 mm ruby beads.
Around 95 % of the beads are located within the heating coil zone. The remaining 5 to 6 % of the space near the cap is intended for double-decker use, so concentrates do not vaporize immediately but instead fall into the heating zone. Increased airflow compensates for the greater depth, and according to the manufacturer, the chamfered air holes are designed to improve airflow and concentrate use.
The 20 mm coil must be stretched slightly longer than the gemstone chamber and is then compressed like a spring as the cap is screwed on, ensuring a secure fit. The kit includes a pre-fitted coil; QaromaShop also sells a separate pre-stretched 20 mm coil rated at 150 W for the Lite Plus and Taroma 3.0. It connects to the PID controller using a five-pin XLR connector.

The kit includes the titanium housing, an adapter bowl with a 14 mm joint, an 18 mm joint, or both joint sizes, a pre-fitted 20 mm coil, the PID controller with a US or EU plug, a coil handle made from stabilized walnut, a porcelain stand, two packages of 3 mm ruby beads, 17 mm stainless steel screens, and a stainless steel scoop with a stirring tool.
