The Puffco Peak Pro is an electronic dab rig for concentrates — with degree-precise temperature control from 204 to 340 °C. The centerpiece: the 3D Chamber, which heats from the sides and bottom simultaneously. Add USB-C charging, optional wireless charging via the Power Dock, and a weight of just 336 grams. About 30 sessions per charge from the 1,700 mAh battery.
Compared to the original Peak, Puffco reworked nearly everything for the Pro: real-time temperature control instead of four LED presets, USB-C instead of Micro-USB, almost half the weight. In Europe, the Peak Pro is available at over 18 shops starting from around €161. All offers in the price comparison.

Design & Build
Like its predecessor, the Peak Pro consists of three parts: base (battery, electronics, LED display), 3D Chamber (heating element), and glass attachment (bubbler with water filtration). But it is sleeker, lighter, and more refined.
At 336 grams, the Peak Pro weighs almost half of the original (680 g). The base has a single button and an LED ring on the bottom that shows the current temperature, battery level, and settings. No separate screen, but far more information than the simple color LED on the original.
The Oculus Carb Cap is included — a flat cap with directional airflow that distributes the concentrate more efficiently than a standard carb cap. Rotate it on the chamber to steer the airflow.
The glass is replaceable. Puffco offers various colors and special editions, and third parties like Ryan Fitt sell recycler glasses with better filtration. The connection is not compatible with the original Peak — the Pro glass has a different design.

3D Chamber Technology
The 3D Chamber is the most significant upgrade over the original Peak. The Peak's standard ceramic chamber heats from the bottom only. The 3D Chamber heats from bottom and side walls simultaneously.
What does that mean in practice? More even heat distribution. No hot spot at the bottom that scorches the concentrate while the top is still liquid. The result: better flavor, more complete extraction, less waste.
Self-cleaning mode: The 3D Chamber has a built-in cleaning cycle. It runs at maximum temperature to burn off light residue. It will not handle heavy buildup — that still needs ISO — but for day-to-day use, it is convenient.
Replacement: The chamber twists off and on. No screwing, no tools. Replacement chambers cost about €30–50 depending on the shop. The chamber is a wear part — it lasts roughly 3 to 6 months with regular use.
Compared to the SiC and quartz upgrades for the original Peak, the 3D Chamber is a different category. Instead of swapping the material, it changes the heating geometry entirely.

Temperature Control & App
The Peak Pro controls temperature to the degree, from 204 to 340 °C. That is the biggest difference from the original, which only has four fixed LED presets.
Without the app, four default presets are available (same LED colors as the Peak):
| Color | Level | Approx. Temp | Character |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🔵 Blue | 1 (Low) | ~204 °C | Pure flavor, little visible vapor |
| 🟢 Green | 2 (Medium) | ~246 °C | Balanced — flavor and clouds |
| 🔴 Red | 3 (High) | ~288 °C | Dense clouds, less terpene nuance |
| ⚪ White | 4 (Max) | ~340 °C | Maximum extraction, hot vapor |
With the Puffco Connect app (Bluetooth), the Peak Pro becomes a different device:
- Custom temperature profiles — any degree between 204 and 340 °C
- Real-time temperature tracking on your phone — see exactly where the chamber is at
- Session data — how long, how hot, how often
- Boost Mode — raise temperature mid-session (e.g., +10 °C for the last hit)
- Community profiles to share and download
The LED display on the base shows the current temperature even without the app as a color gradient. Nice to look at and functional. But for full control, you need the app.
Peak Pro vs Peak
The original Peak and the Peak Pro serve the same purpose: water-filtered concentrate vapor without a torch. The differences in detail:
| Feature | Peak (Original) | Peak Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature control | 4 preset levels (LED colors) | Degree-precise, 204–340 °C |
| Chamber | Ceramic (bottom-only heating) | 3D Chamber (bottom + sides) |
| Heat-up | ~20 seconds | ~30 seconds |
| App control | Yes (Bluetooth, basic) | Yes (expanded: profiles, boost, tracking) |
| Weight | ~680 g (with glass + water) | ~336 g |
| Charging | Micro-USB | USB-C + Wireless Power Dock |
| Carb Cap | Standard | Oculus (directional airflow) |
| Glass | Peak glass (not cross-compatible) | Pro glass (own design) |
| Battery | 1,700 mAh | 1,700 mAh |
| Price (from) | ~€115 | ~€161 |
Who should get the Peak Pro? Anyone who wants precise temperature control, creates and shares profiles via the app, or prefers a lighter device. The 3D Chamber is a real upgrade — more even heat, less waste.
Who stays with the original? Anyone looking for an affordable e-rig where four presets are enough. The Peak does the same thing — just without fine-tuning. For less than half the Pro price. There is also the newer Peak Pro V2 as the latest version.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Concentrate residue will burn into the chamber if you skip cleaning. The Peak Pro makes it a bit easier than the original — thanks to the self-cleaning mode.
After every session (30 seconds):
- Remove the glass attachment
- Swab a Q-tip into the still-warm chamber — residual heat dissolves the concentrate
- Wipe dry once more
3D Chamber self-clean: Start the self-cleaning cycle via the menu or the app. The chamber heats to maximum and burns off light residue. For heavier buildup: twist off the chamber and soak in isopropyl alcohol.
Weekly:
- Fill the glass with isopropyl alcohol (90%+) and soak for 15–30 minutes
- Rinse with warm water and let dry
- Soak the 3D Chamber in ISO for 5–10 minutes if needed
Chamber replacement: The 3D Chamber is a wear part. With regular use, it lasts 3–6 months. Replacements are available from Puffco and most shops. Swapping takes seconds — twist off, twist on, done.
Wireless Power Dock: The dock itself needs no cleaning. Just keep the charging surface and the bottom of the Peak Pro base free of concentrate residue.
