The MAD Heaters YLL 3.0 (also YLLvape IH 3.0) from MAD Heaters is an induction heater with adjustable power from 30 to 100 watts. It heats ferromagnetic tips – DynaVap, TEMPEST, and others – in seconds via induction. Two 21700 batteries (not included) provide power, charged via USB-C. Check current prices in the YLL 3.0 price comparison.

Induction heating: 30–100 watts, precisely adjustable
The YLL 3.0 generates a high-frequency magnetic field that induces eddy currents in ferromagnetic tips. Power adjusts from 30 to 100 watts in single-watt steps, combined with heating duration in seconds. Low watts for flavour-focused sessions, high watts for dense clouds in a single hit. The display shows exactly the values you set.
Unlike torch heating, induction distributes heat evenly – no uneven hot spots, no scorching. The DynaVap click mechanism triggers more consistently than with most lighters.
Dual 21700 batteries and USB-C
The YLL 3.0 runs on two 21700 batteries (not included). This cell size offers more capacity than 18650s, enabling many heat cycles per charge. Charge via USB-C or use an external charger.
Recommended cells: Samsung 40T, Molicel P42A, or similar high-drain 21700 batteries.
180° flip display
The display shows watts and seconds – the two values you actually set. No clutter, no bloated menus. The 180° flip makes it readable from any angle, whether the YLL sits on a table or rests in your hand.
Glass chamber and safety
The replaceable glass chamber is height-adjustable (remove battery cover, push up ceramic insert from below). This allows adaptation to different tip lengths. A 60-second timeout prevents accidental overheating.
YLL 3.0 vs. Ispire The Wand
Both are induction heaters for DynaVap and similar devices, but with different approaches: The YLL 3.0 offers adjustable wattage (30–100W) and heat duration, uses 21700 cells, and has a flip display. The Ispire Wand provides temperature control (120–425°C), uses 2x 18650, and doubles as a dab rig. The YLL is more powerful and flexible in settings; the Wand is more versatile with its concentrate mode.
Compared to the Ispire Wand
Both use induction heating for DynaVap caps, but the YLL 3.0 is a desktop unit with AC power, while the Ispire Wand runs on 18650 batteries. The YLL 3.0 delivers more power and unlimited sessions. For home use, it is the more convenient choice.
Ceramic Chamber Coating
The YLL 3.0 features a ceramic-coated heating chamber that preserves the natural taste of your herbs. Ceramic is chemically inert at vaping temperatures, so it does not release any off-flavors or residues during a session. The smooth coating also makes the chamber easier to clean, since herb particles are less likely to stick to the walls compared to bare metal surfaces.
