Ispire The Wand

The temperature range extends from 120 to 425 °C, adjustable in fine increments via the digital display. Lower temperatures around 160-180 °C are suitable for aromatic, lighter draws with plenty of flavour. From 200 °C onwards, the vapour becomes denser and stronger, and in the upper range from 350 °C, concentrates can be vaporised.

The Wand works on demand: it heats only while the button is pressed. There is no 30-second warm-up phase as with many session vaporizers. Within a few seconds, the induction coil reaches the target temperature. Anyone who heats their DynaVap with it will know the principle — except that here a display shows the exact temperature instead of waiting for the cap to click.

Two standard 18650 battery cells with a total of 2900 mAh power the Ispire The Wand. That is a major advantage: 18650 cells are widely available, inexpensive, and can be swapped in seconds. When capacity drops after months of use, you simply insert fresh cells — no sending it away, no warranty claim.

Charging is done via USB-C. How many heating cycles one charge provides depends on the set temperature. At moderate temperatures around 200 °C, 15 to 20 sessions are realistic; fewer in concentrate mode at high temperatures. If you cannot get to a socket while out and about, simply take a second pair of charged 18650 cells with you.

The Wand can do more than dry herbs: in banger mode, the induction coil heats a quartz or titanium banger, as commonly used with dab rigs. This makes it possible to vaporise waxes and concentrates without needing a torch lighter. The temperature can be set precisely via the display — an advantage over conventional torch bangers, where you can only estimate the temperature.

A 14-mm adapter makes The Wand compatible with common water pipes. Anyone filtering the vapour through water gets cooler, smoother draws — this applies to both herbs and concentrates. The combination of induction, digital display, and water filtration is a unique feature that hardly any other portable device offers.

At 250 g, the Ispire The Wand is lighter than many portable session vaporizers and significantly more compact than desktop induction heaters. The housing is made from a metal alloy with a matte finish — available in black and white. In the hand, The Wand feels like a thick pen; its wand-shaped design sets it apart visually from box-shaped devices.

The on-demand operation is practical when you are out and about: no preheating, no waiting, no power consumption on standby. Press, produce vapour, done. In everyday use, that means: switch on, choose the temperature, insert herb or banger, and get started. The entire session takes seconds, not minutes.

Cleaning The Wand in herb mode is limited to emptying and brushing out the herb chamber. Isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud remove residue in the vapour path. In concentrate mode, the banger must be cleaned regularly with Q-Tips and isopropyl alcohol — as with any dab rig.

Accessories include the 14-mm-WPA adapter for water pipes, a herb attachment, and the banger attachment. Replacement bangers and adapters are available separately. If you already own a DynaVap, you can also use The Wand as an induction heater for it — the cap is heated by induction just like with a desktop IH.
