The Auxo Celsius by Auxo is a portable dual-use vaporizer built around a triple heating system: conduction, convection, and infrared working at the same time. The stainless steel chamber holds about 0.3 g and reaches temperature in 25 seconds -- fast for a device that uses three heat sources simultaneously.
In Pro Mode (via the free Bluetooth app for iOS & Android), you can program custom heating curves anywhere between 140 and 260 °C, with ramp durations from 40 seconds to 3 minutes. A 360° rotatable zirconia mouthpiece, dosing capsule support, WPA compatibility, and passthrough USB-C charging round out the feature set. Check current prices in the price comparison.

Triple Heating: Conduction, Convection, and Infrared
Most portable vaporizers rely on a single heat transfer method. The Celsius uses three at once. Conduction heats the material directly from the chamber floor. Convection pulls hot air through the herb, promoting even extraction across the full load. The infrared element warms the chamber wall from the outside, adding radiant heat without direct contact.
In practice this means less channeling (uneven airflow through the material), more consistent extraction from the first draw to the last, and fewer half-baked spots near the edges. The 25-second heat-up is genuinely fast for a system this complex.
App & Pro Mode: Custom Heating Curves
The free Auxo app (iOS & Android) unlocks Pro Mode via Bluetooth. Instead of fixed preset temperatures, you define a curve: start temperature, end temperature, and duration (40 seconds to 3 minutes). A gentle ramp from 160 °C to 220 °C over 2 minutes, for example, lets you pull terpenes first before extracting heavier compounds.
No app needed for basic use -- the presets built into the device cover the most common temperature ranges and work without any pairing. This makes the Celsius approachable for beginners while giving experienced users the detailed control they want.
Dual-Use: Dry Herb and Concentrates
The Celsius is designed as a dual-use device. The stainless steel chamber handles dry herb (up to ~0.3 g) and, with the appropriate insert or concentrate pad, waxes and oils as well. Auxo recommends using an insert to prevent direct contact between concentrates and the chamber metal.
Dosing capsules (sold separately) fit the chamber, which is handy for pre-loading multiple sessions before going out. A compatible WPA (water pipe adapter) lets you use the Celsius with a bong or bubbler. The 360° rotatable zirconia mouthpiece makes it easy to adjust the angle without repositioning your grip on the device.
Battery and Charging: 1100 mAh with Passthrough
The internal battery is rated at 1100 mAh, which Auxo estimates as about 9 sessions. Real-world numbers depend on temperature and curve length -- lower temps and shorter curves stretch battery life, high-temperature long ramps will cut it to around 6-7 sessions.
Charging is via USB-C, and passthrough charging is supported: the device can be used while plugged in, which is useful at a desk or during a commute. Full charge takes roughly 60-90 minutes, which is typical for this battery size. Battery level is shown on the LED indicator.
Build, Maintenance, and Warranty
The Celsius weighs around 120 g and is compact enough for a jacket pocket. The zirconia mouthpiece rotates a full 360°, so you can set the angle to suit your grip rather than twisting the whole device. Zirconia is taste-neutral and highly heat-resistant -- a clear step up from plastic mouthpieces in terms of vapor purity.
For cleaning, Auxo recommends isopropyl alcohol (70-99 %) for the chamber and mouthpiece. Screens should be replaced or flame-cleaned every 5-10 sessions. The box includes cleaning tools and a first accessory set. The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
