Thermal conduction heating
App & Pro Mode: Individual Heating Curves
Via the free Auxo app (iOS & Android, Bluetooth), the Pro Mode of the Celsius can be activated. Instead of fixed temperature steps, you can define a curve: start temperature, end temperature and duration (40 seconds to 3 minutes). This allows, for example, a gentle start at 160 °C that slowly rises to 220 °C — useful if you want to extract terpenes first and then capture the full spectrum.
Those who prefer not to use the app can work with the pre-set steps directly on the device. Operation is then straightforward: switch on, select temperature, wait. The Celsius is therefore suitable for beginners as well as experienced users who want precise control over the process.
Dual-Use: Herb and Concentrates
The Celsius is officially designed as a dual-use device: the stainless steel chamber accommodates both dried herb (up to approx. 0.3 g) and concentrates. For waxes and oils, Auxo recommends the matching concentrate pad or the included insert, which prevents direct contact with the chamber metal.
Auxo does not list dosing capsules or a water pipe adapter for the Celsius; the 360° rotatable zirconium mouthpiece attachment makes handling easier in various positions.
Battery and Charging: 1,100 mAh, No Use While Charging
The internal battery holds 1,100 mAh, which Auxo equates to around 9 sessions. How long a session lasts depends on the temperature and heating curve — at lower temperatures and shorter curves, the 9 sessions are generally sufficient in practice. Those working at the highest setting should expect 6–7.
Charging is via USB-C. While charging, the Celsius cannot be used, according to Auxo, for safety reasons. The manufacturer does not state a charging time. The device displays the charge level via an LED indicator.
Handling, Cleaning and Accessories
The Celsius weighs around 120 g and is compact enough for a jacket pocket. The 360° rotating zirconium mouthpiece is a practical detail: you can adjust it to your own grip without having to turn the device. Zirconium is considered flavour-neutral and heat-resistant — an advantage over plastic mouthpieces.
For cleaning, Auxo recommends ISO alcohol (70–99 %) for the chamber and mouthpiece. The screens should be replaced or burnt off after 5–10 sessions.
