The Zeus Arc GT4 is the flagship portable from Zeus Arsenal, TVape's in-house brand from Canada. Yes, it is a house brand — and that matters when you are comparing it to established names like Storz & Bickel or DaVinci. But the GT4 brings real hardware to the table: a 24-karat gold-plated vapor path (branded "GoldSink"), a 3500 mAh battery that outlasts most competitors, and an ArcPod dosing system for on-the-go convenience. Whether the gold plating genuinely improves flavor or mostly improves marketing is debatable. What is not debatable: the GT4 produces solid vapor at a price well below the Mighty+.
Hybrid heating (convection + conduction), a full-color OLED display, and a companion app with session tracking put the Zeus Arc GT4 squarely in mid-range portable territory — targeting buyers who want premium features without the 300 € price tag. Current prices across 17 European shops range from 160 to 250 € in our price comparison. See all Zeus products on the brand page.

GoldSink Technology & Hybrid Heating
Zeus markets the gold-plated vapor path as its defining feature. The concept: 24-karat gold layered over ceramic distributes heat more evenly than bare ceramic and does not react with terpenes. Gold is indeed an excellent thermal conductor (317 W/mK vs. ~30 W/mK for ceramic). So the physics checks out.
In practice, the hybrid heating works well. Hot air flows through the herb (convection) while the chamber walls provide contact heat (conduction). The result: even extraction without constant stirring. Does the gold make a noticeable difference over a well-designed plain ceramic chamber? Hard to say honestly. The vapor is clean and flavorful. But anyone claiming they can taste gold in a blind test is probably reaching.
Heat-up time sits at 20–25 seconds to operating temperature. Not the fastest (the Venty hits 210 °C in 20 seconds flat), but perfectly usable for daily sessions. No awkward waiting around.
ArcPods — Zeus Dosing Capsules
ArcPods are stainless steel dosing capsules that you fill at home and swap on the go. Five come in the box — a generous starter set. The concept is identical to Storz & Bickel's dosing capsules for the Mighty+, except Zeus uses a proprietary design.
Everyday benefits:
- Clean chamber: Herb never touches the chamber walls directly. Cleaning goes from scrubbing to occasional wipe-downs.
- Portion control: Each pod holds a consistent amount (~0.15 g). Useful for measured consumption.
- Quick swaps: Pod out, fresh pod in. Takes 5 seconds.
The catch: ArcPods are proprietary. No S&B capsules, no third-party alternatives. And Zeus does not sell refill packs at cost. Daily users who buy pods regularly should factor in this ongoing expense. You can also use the GT4 without pods — the chamber works fine when loaded directly.
Temperature Control & OLED Display
Temperature range spans 195 °C to 255 °C (383–491 °F). Three presets cover the most common ranges: low for flavor, medium for balance, high for thick clouds. For finer control, switch to precision mode with 1 °C steps — handy if you rotate different strains with varying terpene profiles.
The full-color OLED display shows temperature, battery level, session timer, and active mode. Readable even in direct sunlight. Two-button operation — intuitive enough that you will not need the manual after an hour.
Session length is adjustable. Auto-off protects the battery if you forget the device. A detail that cheaper portables often skip: the GT4 remembers your last temperature setting after power-off.
3500 mAh Battery & USB-C
This is where the GT4 genuinely stands out. 3500 mAh is above average for a portable vaporizer. For reference: the Mighty+ packs ~3200 mAh, the Crafty+ only 2190 mAh. In real-world use, the GT4 delivers 8–12 sessions per charge, depending on temperature and draw length. A full day is easy; moderate users may stretch it to two.
USB-C fast charging fills the battery from empty in roughly 90 minutes. Not the fastest (the Venty hits 80% in 40 minutes with its Supercharger), but solid. Pass-through charging works: you can vape while plugged in. Convenient at home, less so outdoors.
The battery is non-removable. After 2–3 years of heavy use, capacity will noticeably decline. That is the trade-off for compact design.
Zeus ARC App
The Zeus ARC App connects via Bluetooth and offers features beyond on-device controls:
- Custom temperature profiles: Create curves that automatically ramp during a session — e.g., start at 195 °C for the first 3 minutes, then step up to 220 °C.
- Session tracking: Total sessions, average duration, preferred temperatures. Fun for data nerds, skippable for everyone else.
- Firmware updates: The GT4 can be updated through the app.
The app works fine, but it is not essential. Everything important can be set on the device itself. If you are uncomfortable with Bluetooth on a consumption device — and there are valid reasons for that — the GT4 works perfectly without the app. Temperature profiles are the only feature that lives exclusively in the app.
DaVinci's IQ3 and Pax Plus offer comparable app functionality. The Zeus app is neither worse nor better — middle of the road.
Zeus Arc GT4 vs. the Competition
Where does the GT4 sit in the market? An honest comparison with its main rivals:
| Feature | Zeus Arc GT4 | Mighty+ | Crafty+ | Pax Plus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price (approx.) | 160–250 € | 250–300 € | 200–250 € | 200–250 € |
| Heating | Hybrid | Hybrid | Hybrid | Conduction |
| Battery | 3500 mAh | ~3200 mAh | 2190 mAh | ~3040 mAh |
| Display | Color OLED | OLED | LEDs | LEDs |
| Dosing capsules | ArcPods (proprietary) | S&B Capsules (standard) | S&B Capsules | None |
| App | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
| Weight | 185 g | 227 g | 135 g | 90 g |
| Warranty | 3 years | 3 years | 2 years | 2 years |
Against the Mighty+: the GT4 wins on price (50–100 € cheaper), display (color vs. monochrome), and app support. It loses on reputation — Storz & Bickel has 20+ years of engineering and medical device certifications. Zeus is a retail brand without independent clinical testing.
Against the Crafty+: the GT4 has a much larger battery and a screen. The Crafty+ is smaller, lighter, and its S&B capsules are universally available.
Bottom line: the GT4 is a capable mid-range portable with premium touches at a fair price. If the Mighty+ feels too expensive and you want a display, give the GT4 a serious look. If brand pedigree matters to you, stick with Storz & Bickel.
