The YllVape Angus Enhanced heats with a 100-watt halogen bulb, and ruby balls store the heat. It has five settings from 180 to 220 °C, a 10 °C boost and runs on two replaceable 18650 cells, which are not included. A glass water pipe adapter and a sidecar bubbler come in the box.

The heat comes from a 100-watt halogen lamp. Ruby balls absorb it, store it, and distribute it. The air flows through the balls and then heats the herb in the chamber.
YllVape does not state how many balls are inside the device; as a replacement the manufacturer sells a set of 26 balls measuring 3 mm each. For the Enhanced version YllVape specifies stainless steel insulation. A dial on the underside controls the airflow.
The Angus Enhanced has five settings: 180, 190, 200, 210, and 220 °C. It is switched on with five clicks within two seconds. The light ring first shows the battery level — five dots at 20 per cent each — then the selected setting. A double-click changes the setting, and the device confirms with a brief vibration.
A session lasts five minutes. Holding the button during a session raises the temperature by 10 °C; releasing it returns to the previous setting. According to the manufacturer, the settings can be changed using its update program.
YllVape does not state a heat-up time. One review reports around 25 seconds. Before first use, the manual recommends heating the device two or three times to 220 °C without inhaling the vapor.
Under the side covers sit two 18650 cells. YllVape recommends high-drain cells rated at 35 A, specifically the Molicel P28A with 2,800 mAh (Flat Top). The list of included accessories does not contain batteries, so they are purchased separately.
Charging is done in the device via USB-C with at least 10 watts, or in an external 18650 charger. The manual advises keeping a dedicated pair of cells solely for this device. The Angus Enhanced therefore has no fixed total capacity; it depends on the cells used. Whether pass-through vaping during charging is possible is not mentioned in the manual.
