Two coils for two vaping styles

Utillian includes two heating elements with the 5 V4, each offering a distinctly different experience; the Triple Titanium Coil, with three titanium rods, is designed for large loads and dense clouds — it heats aggressively and consumes material quickly. The Twisted Kanthal Coil heats more evenly, handles both small and large amounts and emphasizes flavor. Both elements screw into the chamber and can be replaced without tools; replacement coils are available as accessories.

Four voltage settings and adjustable airflow

Power is selected via four fixed voltage settings, which are cycled through at the press of a button — there is no temperature display, with the setting indicated by a colored LED. Lower settings provide more flavor, while higher settings produce more vapor; the manufacturer does not consistently specify the exact voltage values, so we do not provide any figures here. The body also features an airflow ring: narrowing it makes the vapor denser, while opening it further makes the device easier to draw from. Combined with the choice of coil, this produces noticeably different sessions from the same pen.

Battery, USB-C and build quality

The built-in 1500-mAh battery is generously sized for a wax pen and lasts throughout the day with normal use; for the first time, the V4 charges via USB-C rather than Micro-USB — the most important difference from the previous version. The stainless-steel body has a PVD coating that resists scratches and fingerprints better than painted metal. The black ceramic mouthpiece also serves as a lid, splash guard and loading tool: its underside has a pointed tip that allows concentrate to be placed directly into the chamber.
