Utillian 2. Utillian's smallest portable. Conduction, 220 °C, 650 mAh. 10-second heat-up time. Water pipe compatible. 1-year warranty. Compact and fast, but the small battery limits session length.
With its slim pen-style format, the Utillian 2 fits into any shirt pocket.
The 510 thread makes the Utillian 2 compatible with a wide range of attachments and cartridges on the market. The built-in battery can be recharged via USB. With verified shops in the price comparison, it is an affordable option for users looking for a discreet, easy-to-use pen.

The Utillian 2 uses the standardized 510 thread -- the most widespread connection in the vape world. That means: Almost any 510-compatible cartridge or attachment can be screwed on. From pre-filled cartridges to empty tanks for your own blends, everything is possible.
The versatility of the 510 standard is one of the main reasons why the Utillian 2 is so popular. You buy the battery once and can then use different attachments depending on your needs. That keeps ongoing costs low and makes the device flexible.
When buying cartridges, you should make sure they are designed for low wattage -- the Utillian 2 is a pen device, not a sub-ohm mod. Standard 510 cartridges with 1-1.5 Ohm resistance work best.
The Utillian 2 works with draw activation (Inhale-Activated): As soon as you inhale through the mouthpiece, a sensor detects the airflow and activates the heating automatically. No switching on, no button pressing -- the device is always ready to use.
This system makes operation especially intuitive. It is a major advantage particularly for people switching from conventional cigarettes or for users who do not want complicated menus.
A side effect: Without a button, there are fewer moving parts and fewer sources of failure. The device stays slim and the surface remains smooth -- visually it is hardly distinguishable from a normal pen.
The output voltage of the Utillian 2 can be adjusted across several levels. Low voltage produces less vapor but more flavor. Higher voltage delivers denser clouds, but can affect flavor with sensitive cartridges.
Typical settings:
| Level | Voltage | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Low | ~2.4 V | Mild flavor, little vapor |
| Medium | ~3.2 V | Balanced, moderate vapor |
| High | ~3.8 V | Strong vapor, intense flavor |
This adjustability is especially useful because different cartridges respond differently to voltage. Thicker oils need more power, while thinner extracts work best at lower voltage.
The Utillian 2 is about the size of a thick ballpoint pen -- it hardly stands out in a pocket, rucksack or handbag. The slim design makes it one of the most discreet vape devices on the market.
For users who value subtlety, this format is ideal. No large device, no noticeable display, no loud beeping -- just a simple pen that only works when you inhale.
However, the compact dimensions come with a compromise: Battery capacity is limited. For occasional use, the internal battery easily lasts a day. Heavy users should keep a USB charging cable close at hand.
The Utillian 2 belongs to the most affordable category of 510 vape pens. Compared with similar devices, it offers draw activation and adjustable voltage -- neither of which is a given in this price range.
| Device | Activation | Voltage | 510 thread |
|---|---|---|---|
| Utillian 2 | Draw | Adjustable | Yes |
| CCell Silo | Draw | Fixed | Yes |
| Yocan Uni Pro | Button | Adjustable | Yes |
With 6 shops in the price comparison, the Utillian 2 is widely available. For users looking for a simple, affordable and discreet 510 pen, it is one of the best options on the market.
