Yocan Black Pocket Mini

The centrepiece is the Cloud 2.1 chamber from the Yocan Black series: a 360-degree ceramic chamber in a stainless steel housing that heats wax from all sides. Compared to conventional coil bases, the material vaporizes more evenly and leaves fewer residues on the chamber wall. The mouthpiece is ceramic-reinforced, which keeps the flavor more neutral than pure plastic attachments.

Instead of three fixed levels, the Black Pocket Mini offers a freely selectable range of 400 to 580 °F (204 to 304 °C), adjustable in 5 °F increments via the side display. Lower values around 220 °C emphasize terpenes and flavor, while the upper end delivers dense vapor. Those coming from single-button pens will find genuine control over the vaporization point for the first time.

The built-in 1,300 mAh battery is generously sized for this class of device — Yocan states approximately 15 sessions per charge. Charging is via USB-C; a charging port on the underside allows topping up while the device stands upright. A battery level indicator on the display shows the remaining charge in bars.

The housing has been shrunk to trouser-pocket size and comes in five color variants. Operation is via a single button plus rocker buttons for the temperature: pressing five times powers it on, pressing twice starts session mode with a fixed heating duration. The angled mouthpiece sits comfortably during draws and can be removed for filling.

With a list price of 69.99 US dollars, the Black Pocket Mini sits between simple 510-thread pens and more expensive e-rigs. Those who primarily vaporize small amounts of concentrate on the go and value temperature control get a great deal of features for comparatively little money. For large water-filtered sessions at home, an e-rig such as the Lookah Mini Dragon Egg remains the more suitable choice.
