The Utillian 722 from Utillian is a portable convection vaporizer for dry herbs with a glass mouthpiece. Unlike conduction devices, hot air flows through the material -- for more even extraction and cleaner flavor. Four temperature levels and a 2200 mAh battery provide solid endurance.
Utillian is a Canadian brand (TVape) specializing in mid-range vaporizers. The 722 pairs convection with a glass mouthpiece -- uncommon at this price point. The price comparison across 3 shops shows the current pricing.

Convection Heating for Pure Flavor
The Utillian 722 uses convection heating: hot air flows through the herbs rather than touching them directly. The result is more even extraction and less risk of combustion at the chamber walls.
The chamber is made of stainless steel and holds about 0.3 g. The larger chamber compared to pens allows longer sessions. Convection benefits from slower draws -- pulling too fast does not give the air enough time to release active compounds.
The glass mouthpiece cools the vapor further and does not affect taste. Glass is flavor-superior to plastic but more fragile. Replacement glass mouthpieces are sold separately.
Four Temperature Levels: 180-220 °C
Four levels span 180 to 220 °C:
- Level 1 (180 °C): Flavor-focused, little visible vapor
- Level 2 (190 °C): Light vapor, good all-rounder
- Level 3 (205 °C): Thick vapor, stronger effect
- Level 4 (220 °C): Maximum extraction
Heat-up takes about 30-45 seconds. LEDs show the active level by color. Auto-shutoff after 5 minutes prevents material waste.
Convection works best at mid-range temperatures (190-205 °C). Flavor stays clean and vapor output is solid. Level 4 suits the last pass when material is nearly spent.
Battery: 2200 mAh
The 2200 mAh battery is significantly larger than on pens (typical 950-1100 mAh). It lasts 6-10 sessions per charge. Charge time is 2-3 hours via Micro-USB.
The larger battery makes the 722 heavier -- about 150 g. Still pocket-friendly, but no longer a pen. The form factor resembles a thick marker.
The battery is fixed. The higher capacity ensures it holds up well even with convection, which draws more power than conduction.
3 Shops in the Price Comparison
The Utillian 722 is listed in 3 shops. As a convection device with glass mouthpiece, it offers a rare combination at this price.
