About this vaporizer
Utillian 722 is a portable convection vaporizer for herbs with just one button. It offers four fixed temperature settings (180, 190, 200 and 210 °C). Holding the button down engages Boost mode, which heats to 225 °C to finish vaporizing the remaining contents at the end of a Session.
According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts around 60 minutes, equating to roughly 6 to 8 sessions. It charges via Micro-USB. There is no app or Bluetooth: powering on, temperature selection, and Boost are all controlled via the single button. For wax, Utillian sells a compatible Wax Canister Set. Convection Heating for Pure Flavor
The Utillian 722 uses convection heating: hot air flows through the herbs rather than touching them directly. The result is more even extraction and less risk of combustion at the chamber walls.
The chamber is made of stainless steel and holds about 0.3 g. The larger chamber compared to pens allows longer sessions. Convection benefits from slower draws -- pulling too fast does not give the air enough time to release active compounds.
The glass mouthpiece cools the vapor further and does not affect taste. Glass is flavor-superior to plastic but more fragile. Replacement glass mouthpieces are sold separately.
