Heat-Up Time
The manufacturer states around 40 seconds to reach 180 °C, depending on ambient temperature, the device, and the amount of material loaded. The instructions for use add that heating can take up to two minutes depending on the set temperature.
Valve Balloon and Whip Unit
The Medic 2 works with the MEDIC VALVE valve balloon (approximately 12.5 liters) or with the whip unit. For balloon operation the data sheet states an airflow of around 12 liters per minute; for the whip, the product page states 30 liters per minute.
The box includes four valve balloons with mouthpiece and one whip unit.
Dosing Capsule, Dimensions, and Warranty
A dosing capsule and a dosing capsule adapter (approximately Ø 15 mm) are included in the box. According to the instructions for use, the dosing capsule is intended for single use with the Medic 2.
