The Puffco Peak Pro V2 is the flagship among Puffco's electronic dab rigs. It uses the large 3DXL Chamber with real-time temperature control and offers four presets plus unlimited custom profiles via the Puffco Connect App. The temperature range spans 204 to 340 °Celsius. Heat-up time is around 20 seconds, and up to 40 cycles are possible per charge. Charging is via USB-C or wirelessly through Qi. The integrated water filtration with Vortex percolator glass cools the vapour before it is inhaled.

3DXL Chamber and heating system

The Peak Pro V2 uses Puffco's 3DXL Chamber — the largest chamber in the Puffco range. Compared with the 3D Chamber in the Pivot and New Peak, it holds more material and is suited to larger dabs.

The ceramic surface heats the concentrate evenly from all sides via conduction. Real-time temperature control keeps the selected temperature constant throughout the entire cycle — with most competing products, the temperature fluctuates after heat-up.

The chamber can be removed with a quarter turn (quick release). Replacement chambers are available separately.

Temperature control and app

The Peak Pro V2 offers four temperature presets plus unlimited custom profiles via the Puffco Connect App (Bluetooth):

Via the app, exact temperatures between 204 and 340 degrees Celsius can be set and saved as profiles. The LED colours can also be customised. The app is optional — the device also works without it using the four presets.

How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?

With up to 40 heating cycles per charge, the Peak Pro V2 offers the longest battery life of all Puffco devices. For comparison: the New Peak manages ~35 cycles, the Pivot ~15.

Charging is via USB-C or Qi wireless charging. The wireless charging option is handy for desk use — simply place it on a Qi pad.

The battery is built in and cannot be replaced by the user.

Water filtration and glass

The Peak Pro V2 has integrated Vortex percolator glass that filters the vapour through water and cools it. Compared with dab pens without water, the vapour is noticeably smoother and gentler on the lungs.

The Vortex percolator creates a rotating water vortex that cools the vapour especially efficiently. The glass is removable and available separately — there are also aftermarket glass attachments.

The included Joystick Carb Cap regulates airflow during the dab for even vaporisation.

Body and operation

The body of the Peak Pro V2 has a reinforced base for greater stability. At around 355 g, the device is heavier than a pen, but still portable.

Operation is via a single button on the device or through the Puffco Connect App. The button controls temperature selection, heating cycle and battery status indicator. Haptic feedback (vibration) signals when the target temperature has been reached and when the cycle ends.

The LED lighting on the base can be customised individually via the app — colours, animations and brightness.

How Do I Clean and Maintain My Vaporizer?

After each session, remove the 3DXL Chamber and wipe it out with a cotton bud and isopropanol. The chamber can also be soaked in isopropanol.

Rinse the glass regularly with warm water and, if needed, with isopropanol. Residual water in the glass can encourage mould growth — empty any remaining water after each session.

The 3DXL Chamber is a wear part. If flavour or vapour production starts to decline, it should be replaced. Puffco sells replacement chambers separately.

The Peak Pro V2 is the premium model with the largest chamber, app control, wireless charging and the longest battery life. If you do not need app features, the New Peak is considerably cheaper.

The Peak Pro V2 is aimed at experienced concentrate users who want the maximum in flavour and vapour quality. The 3DXL Chamber, precise temperature control and water filtration combine to deliver an experience that no pen and no cheaper E-Rig can match.

It is less suitable for occasional users who only dab rarely, or for users on a tight budget. If you do not need an app and can manage with fewer cycles, the New Peak is a more affordable alternative.
