About this vaporizer
The Puffco Proxy Core strips the Proxy platform down to its most practical form. Instead of the frosted-glass Sherlock pipe that defines the standard Proxy, the Core ships with a durable, self-contained cup — same Bluetooth-enabled base, same 3D chamber system, but no glass to break in a pocket or bag. For a device that is meant to travel, that is a meaningful upgrade in everyday usability.
Functionally nothing is lost. The Core keeps full Puffco app control over temperature and session length, the 1680mAh battery charges over USB-C, and because the base is identical to the standard Proxy, every Proxy attachment — bubblers, droplets, J-hooks, third-party glass — fits without adapters. Owners can start with the Core and build into the glass ecosystem later.
At $220 the Core Kit costs the same as Puffco's base Peak and clearly undercuts the $250 Proxy glass set, making it the cheapest entry into the Proxy platform. The replaceable Core cup is also sold separately, so existing Proxy owners can convert their device for travel days.
The trade-off is character: the glass Sherlock delivers slightly cooler, smoother draws and the classic look. The Core answers with durability and portability. As a first dab rig or a dedicated travel unit, it is arguably the most practical device Puffco has shipped.

The Puffco Proxy Core is the glass-free Proxy variant of 2025: same Bluetooth base, same 3D chamber system, but with a durable Core cup instead of the glass Sherlock. More compact, more practical for daily life — and at around $220 the cheapest entry into Puffco's modular platform.
Functionally nothing is lost: full app control over temperature and session length, a 1680mAh battery with USB-C, and because the base is identical to the standard Proxy, every Proxy attachment fits without adapters.

The glass-free Proxy variant of 2025 — same Bluetooth base and same 3D chamber system, but with a durable Core cup instead of the glass Sherlock.
Only the attachment: instead of the frosted-glass Sherlock pipe, the base sits in the shatterproof Core cup — functionally everything stays the same, app control included.
Yes — the base is identical, every Proxy attachment fits without adapters: bubblers, droplets, J-hooks and third-party glass.
Over Bluetooth via the Puffco app — temperature and session length are set there; charging runs over USB-C (1680mAh battery).
As a first dab device or a rugged travel unit — and as the cheapest entry into the Proxy platform, with room to grow into the glass ecosystem later.
