About this vaporizer
FlowerPot B2 is a Ball Vape head from Cannabis Hardware, made from Grade 2 titanium in Boynton Beach, Florida. The head contains 3 or 4 mm ruby balls. It was designed for both herbs and concentrates: herbs are placed in a bowl beneath the head, while concentrates go on a 28 mm SiC or sapphire dish and require a Carb Cap. It is heated by a 20 mm coil connected to a PID controller. Cannabis Hardware specifies 288 to 427 °C (550 to 800 °F) as the normal controller range. The manufacturer has discontinued the B2 and recommends the FlowerPot B1 for herb-only use.

Titanium head with ball bed
The B2 is made of Grade 2 titanium, according to the manufacturer in Boynton Beach, Florida. Cannabis Hardware developed it from the Vrod head: Its diffuser was hollowed out until it could hold 58 quartz balls measuring 4 mm. According to the manufacturer, this more than doubled the heating surface. Instead of flowing through straight channels, the air now has to flow around the balls, improving efficiency.
The 22 mm diffuser accepts mesh screens or machined screens and holds 3 or 4 mm ruby balls. For one fill, Cannabis Hardware specifies 11.2 g of the 3 mm ruby balls (about 200 pieces) or 10.2 g of the 4 mm ruby balls (about 75 pieces). Sapphire, quartz, or SiC balls also fit and, according to the manufacturer, alter the flavor and performance.
Coil, controller, and temperature
All FlowerPot heads are designed for a 20 mm coil. According to the FAQ, the B2 requires the CH coil or a coil with the same dimensions: A bevel in the head's threading is intended to make full-surface contact with the coil so that heat transfers efficiently. The coil is available for 110 or 220 V and is regulated by a CH or Auber controller. The head alone did not include a coil.
Cannabis Hardware specifies 288 to 427 °C (550 to 800 °F) as the normal range for the FlowerPot and its own PID controllers; it advises never going higher. These values apply to the controller, not to the air at the material: With the controller set to 316 °C (600 °F), the air only reaches the required 190 °C (374 °F), according to the FAQ, while the bowl is then at about 232 °C (450 °F). Since ruby balls were introduced, the manufacturer says significantly lower temperatures are sufficient for dry herbs. The FAQ specifies a heat-up time of 3 to 5 minutes, with the full 5 minutes recommended the first time.
Dry herbs and concentrates
The B2 was a head for both. Finely ground dry herbs go into a bowl with a titanium screen beneath the head. Concentrates go onto a 28 mm SiC or sapphire dish at the top of the head; this requires the Carb Cap, which controls the airflow. The Injector version has an Injector-format diffuser that fits standard glass bowls and is built around the 18 mm connection.
Cannabis Hardware cites precisely this dual use as the reason it was discontinued. With ruby balls, dry herbs require significantly less heat than concentrates, and the gap became too large. In addition, concentrates made cleaning and maintaining the ruby-filled head labor-intensive.
Package contents
The Standard Essentials Bundle included the B2 head, 4 mm ruby balls, a Carb Cap with a wooden handle, the Shovelhead bowl with a titanium screen, 14 and 18 mm fittings, a stand, an insulated holder, an aluminum coil handle, a 20 mm coil, and either a CH PID or Auber RDK controller. The Injector Essentials Bundle instead included the Injector head and an Injector-format glass bowl.
A glass piece for drawing vapor was never included. Using 10, 14, or 18 mm fittings, each available as a male or female joint, you can adapt the FlowerPot to your water pipe.
Warranty and availability
Cannabis Hardware provides a one-year warranty on metal parts and its own controllers, and 30 days on coils. SiC or sapphire bowls are excluded, Auber controllers are covered by Auber's warranty, and the warranty is nontransferable. Therefore, it does not carry over when purchasing a used unit.
The manufacturer lists the head and both bundles as “Sold Out” (as of 11.10.2026). For dry-herb-only use, Cannabis Hardware recommends the FlowerPot B1; for mixed use, it recommends devices such as the MOAB and Airstream.
