About this vaporizer
Arizer Solo is Arizer's first portable model with a ceramic heating element and a borosilicate glass vapor path. It has seven settings from 50 to 210 °C and heats up in 15 seconds to two and a half minutes depending on the setting. The Solo can be used whilst charging, and Arizer offers a lifetime warranty on the heating element.
Compatible Accessories
The Solo has seven fixed levels from 50 to 210 °C. How long it takes to heat up depends on the level: Arizer stated 15 seconds for 50 °C, one minute for 185 °C, and two and a half minutes for 210 °C. It can be used whilst charging. You can find current prices in our price comparison.

Glass Vapor Path and Heating
Arizer describes a hybrid heating system with a vapor path made of pure borosilicate glass. Heating is provided by a ceramic heating element, and the Solo was shipped with a curved glass aroma tube.
Arizer does not specify how convection and conduction are distributed in the original Solo.
Temperature Levels and Heat-Up Time
The Solo has seven fixed levels. The heat-up times are taken from Arizer's product page from 2012:
- Level 1: 50 °C in 15 seconds
- Level 2: 185 °C in 1 minute
- Level 3: 190 °C in 1 minute 10 seconds
- Level 4: 195 °C in 1 minute 30 seconds
- Level 5: 200 °C in 1 minute 50 seconds
- Level 6: 205 °C in 2 minutes 10 seconds
- Level 7: 210 °C in 2 minutes 30 seconds
The current support page no longer lists values in seconds.
How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?
Arizer states approximately 5 to 10 sessions per charge, or around one to two hours of continuous use. Charging takes three to four hours, and longer when used simultaneously: the Solo can be used whilst charging.
Arizer does not specify a capacity in mAh. Replacement batteries are sold by Arizer on request, and they recommend only official Solo batteries. After twelve minutes, the Solo switches off automatically.
Dimensions, Weight, and Warranty
Arizer states 113 mm height, 46 mm diameter, and 217 g. The warranty covers the heating element for life, two years for defects in materials and workmanship, and one year for the battery. Glass is excluded.
Arizer Solo vs Solo 3 V2
The original Solo operates with seven fixed temperature steps; the Solo 3 V2 offers Session and on-demand operation. That is the most important difference in terms of use. With the old Solo you choose between 50, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205, and 210 °C. With the Solo 3 V2, temperature presets can be edited and individual heating cycles started.
Charging also differs: the Solo uses its model-specific charger, while the Solo 3 V2 uses USB-C with Power Delivery. Both use glass aroma tubes; the Solo 3 V2 additionally includes XL glass pieces. When it comes to accessories, check the exact tube version rather than treating every Solo glass variant as identical.
For owners of a functioning Solo, this does not automatically mean a replacement is needed. Anyone specifically looking for individual draws and customizable presets will find these features on the Solo 3 V2. Buying a used original Solo, on the other hand, requires checking battery condition, charger, and undamaged glass parts.
