The Ruby Heating Balls 2 mm (Synthetic Ruby) from CrossingTech are thermal storage media used to fill ball vapes, injectors and bangers. The laboratory-made balls consist of chromium-doped corundum and are 3A quality. With a diameter of 2 mm, they are suitable for filling heating chambers and injectors, as well as for use as terp pearls in a banger. The material is flavor-neutral, dimensionally stable, acid-resistant and designed for sustained high temperatures. Synthetic ruby stores heat and remains color-fast even after many sessions. Each ball weighs approximately 0.017 g; the density is around 3.98 g/cm³. Corundum reaches a Mohs hardness of 9 and has a melting point of approximately 2,050 °C. You can choose between packs containing 300, 600 or 1,200 balls. The balls are supplied pre-cleaned and ready for immediate use. For regular maintenance, you can soak them in isopropyl alcohol, rinse them with clean water and allow them to dry completely. Hot balls must not be quenched with cold water or isopropyl alcohol, as thermal shock may cause cracks in the material.

In these devices, you use them as loose thermal storage media in the respective heating chamber or injector. They can also be used as terp pearls in a suitable banger. Depending on the device and chamber size, several hundred balls may be required.

The pack of 600 weighs around 10 g, while the pack of 1,200 contains approximately 20 g. All variants use the same balls, with a diameter of 2 mm and an individual weight of approximately 0.017 g. The heating balls are supplied clean and can be used without prior cleaning. For ongoing maintenance, soak them regularly in isopropyl alcohol.
