Do NOT soak the cap in isopropanol — this can shift the click point. Only wipe dry or rinse with warm water. Heat discoloration is normal and doesn't affect function.FAQ
How long does a cap last?
Several years with normal use. The click may soften slightly over time but remains functional.
Can I change the click temperature?
Not directly. But heating position on the torch affects temperature: closer to the tip = hotter, closer to the click end = cooler.
