ABV Granola Bites

ABV granola bites are no-bake energy balls that you can make in 10 minutes and store in the freezer for weeks. They’re easy to dose precisely since you add ABV to each bite individually.

What is ABV?

ABV stands for “Already Been Vaped” — it’s the cannabis left over after vaporizing. Because it’s already been heated, the decarboxylation process is complete and the cannabinoids are active. You can use ABV directly in recipes without any additional heating.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1½ cups old-fashioned oats
  • Your favourite trail mix, nuts, chocolate chips, or dried berries
  • ABV (finely ground)
  • Mini baking cups

Instructions

  1. Grind your ABV as finely as possible.
  2. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, vanilla, honey, and coconut oil. Mix well.
  3. Add the oats and trail mix (or your chosen extras) and stir until fully combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small individual balls and place each into a mini baking cup.
  5. Add a small pinch of finely ground ABV on top of each ball and press it in slightly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before eating.

Tips

  • Adding ABV individually to each bite lets you control the exact dose per serving.
  • Store in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • The combination of peanut butter, coconut oil, and oats provides plenty of fat for good cannabinoid absorption.
