ABV Cannabis Capsules
ABV capsules are perfect for people who dislike the taste of cannabis edibles. Each capsule holds a precise dose, they’re completely tasteless, and they take just minutes to make. Store them in the fridge and grab one whenever you need.
What is ABV?
ABV stands for “Already Been Vaped” — it’s the cannabis left over after vaporizing. Because it’s already been heated, the decarboxylation process is complete and the cannabinoids are active. You can use ABV directly in recipes without any additional heating.
Ingredients
- ABV (finely ground)
- Coconut oil
- Large empty gelatin capsules (size 00 recommended)
Instructions
- Grind your ABV as finely as possible.
- Mix the finely ground ABV with just enough coconut oil to create a slightly sticky, packable mixture.
- Open a gelatin capsule and press the ABV-oil mixture tightly into the larger half.
- Cap the capsule closed.
- Repeat for as many capsules as needed.
- Store capsules in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
Tips
- Packing the capsules as tightly as possible maximises the amount of ABV per capsule.
- Start with one capsule and wait at least 90 minutes before taking a second.
- Gelatin capsules can be found cheaply at any health food store or online.
