The Tetra Hydro is the water filter-optimized version of the Tetra convection system — designed for users who want to consistently enjoy their vaping experience via a water filter interface. The butane principle remains: a flame heats the heating structure, warm air flows through the herb as it is drawn in. What sets the Hydro apart is the direct integration of the water pipe function into the device design, allowing for a more fluid usage experience than external adapters.
With a maximum temperature of 220 °C, the Hydro is slightly below the typical ball vaporizer range. This is a conscious decision: water-filtered steam benefits less from extreme temperatures because the water filter already absorbs some of the heat. The system is designed for balanced extraction in the medium temperature range.
The heat-up time of just five seconds is remarkably fast for a butane device. This indicates a compact heating structure with low thermal mass — heated up quickly and ready for immediate use. Anyone who likes to spontaneously squeeze in a session appreciates this feature.
