Yocan Vane 2

The Yocan Vane 2 carries forward everything that made the original Vane a popular budget convection option and adds refinements where they count most. The all-ceramic vapor path is the defining feature: ceramic doesn't leach chemicals, doesn't add off-flavors, and holds temperature steadily throughout a session. Combined with convection heating, which only activates on draw, the Vane 2 delivers clean, flavorful vapor that punches well above its price point.

The temperature range is notably wide — 93°C to 248°C. Most portables start around 160°C or 180°C at the low end, so being able to drop to 93°C gives access to very mild, terpene-forward draws that more restricted devices simply can't offer. At the high end, 248°C is enough for thorough, high-efficiency extraction. Few portables offer this spread in a narrow body.

That narrow form factor is one of the Vane 2's biggest practical advantages. It's slim enough to hold like a pen and fits in a jeans pocket without creating an obvious bulge. The mouthpiece folds flat for transport, which helps with discretion. For users who want something they can actually carry around daily, rather than a device that sits on a desk, the Vane 2's size is a genuine plus.

Convection heating here means the herb stays cool between draws. You're not running a timer against material that's slowly toasting — you can take your time between pulls, and each draw extracts fresh material rather than residual heat. Warmup takes about 30 seconds, which is quick for a convection vaporizer.

Water pipe compatibility extends the use case for home sessions, and passthrough charging keeps things practical. The 1200mAh battery is modest given the thin profile, but four to six sessions per charge is workable for most users. One year of warranty is standard. The Vane 2 is one of the best arguments for full convection at an accessible price.
